I am not having a yard sale but my neighbors are and since I only have two pieces really, I thought I would sit them out and see if they sold. I'm pretty sure one will go quickly but I don't have a clue how much to price them.

I have one Grave Digger Power Wheels that is almost brand new. I can't find them on Ebay though. I don't remember the original price but I'm thinking it was $350.

I also have a twin bed. There is a tent underneath the bed and a ladder and slide down from the sleeping area. Original cost was $450.

Anyone know what I shoud price these at?

I am a yard sale fanatic so I like to think I know what things sell for. You would not get offered much for either item - probably $50 for the power wheels and maybe $100for the bed. I would not attempt to sell your items at a yard sale - try Craig's List first - people tend to pay a fair price there.

You can try to sell but keep your price firm. You cpuld put your price and add OBO on a sign. I would take a picture and do the CL ad under furniture so if someone wants to look they can just stop by the yard sale.

Totally agree with PP. You won't get much at a yard sale. I would start bed at $250 but doubt you get more than $150. Power Wheel I'd start at $150 but expect people to offer much much lower... $50 -$75. Craigs list or ebay p/u only would get you more $$$. Good Luck.

OK thanks. I am so not a yard sale person. I can get more for the Power Wheels by taking it apart and selling the pieces than that. I guess I will do the CL thing.

You should absolutely go with craigslist.

Look on your craigslist or nearby cities to see how much others are selling for, also take a look to see if anyone has posted a wanted ad on craigslist for one of these. You can also use searchtempest.com to see a wider area of what others are selling the item for.

You will need to take some nice pictures and post them with the ad. Be sure to say cash only. Post an honest and descriptive ad, emphasizng how excellent these items are. Obviously a separate ad for each item.

We sold a ton of my DS11's big items on craigslist and got our full asking price for each one. No one haggled like at a yardsale. We sold his powerwheels 4wheeler for $100. It was in excellent condition but 5 years old. Originally $270. We maybe could have gotten more, but I didn't have a digital camera yet at that point, so I found someone on craigslist who had posted a wanted ad - it was for her son's 5th birthday.

Anyway, if the items are in nice condition I would ask 1/2 price. Say $175 for the cool powerwheels and $225 for the awesome bed. If you don't get any response to the ads, try reposting, and if still no response, you should lower your price.

Really, both of these items sound terrific, so I don't think you will have any trouble selling them.

Good luck!!

Well the bed is listed on Craigslist. I am trying to figure out a price for the Grave Digger because apparently these little jobs are pretty hard to come by in good shape and ours looks like it is brand new.

Listed them both on Craigslist for $200. The Grave Digger sold for $175 and the bed is still listed. We have also sold a bicycle within 24 hours of listing it. I'm loving this Craigslist stuff.:lmao: Thank you for all who advised me to list there instead of yardsaling the items.
