Yankee Candles

These days I'll only buy Yankee Candles from the Outlet. I just can't see spending $25 for one candle anymore.

Otherwise I will buy soy candles from other places.

Off to Yankee Candle World....Key Lime Pie is coming in today, I haven't smelled that one in years!

Ok WHEW! That was quite an inbox I came home to! I had at least 40 emails! If you don't get an email from me with the flyer/invite attached please let me know. I'm hoping I got everyone. I'm glad everyone is so excited about this.

All day I'm nervous wondering why that one store told another poster that they were limited in who they could invite. It's making me wonder if other stores are as secrective about this as that store was. Like I said, our store (and stores around us) make this event open to anyone who walks through the door & mentions the Friends & Family sale - but I'd feel TERRIBLE is anyone else was turned away. I strongly recommend that you call your local store before heading out to verify that they'll let you shop even though your "friend" Tara works in another store. Feel free to give them my name & store number to call. OR - if you're sure you're heading to the sale, PM me your name & store location (mall/shopping center name and city & state) and I can call ahead to be sure it's ok, so they know you're coming. I don't mind doing that (even for all 40 of you!)

I'd like to address one email I did get questioning my motives. I can only assume that email was from another Yankee employee. The email suggested I was somehow gaining from promoting this. Please know I am not on commission of any kind, and my own store is not benefiting from this in any way possible. If anything - I'm driving up the sales of other stores - which in turn is a negative for my store numbers. I truly just want to pass along a great deal on a product that I love. A product that is expensive - and this is a great way to spread that product around for half the price.

She said it's mostly for store employees & blood relatives and that even though I buy in the store very frequently (although I know no ones names) that they can't just give me a pass. :(

I don't know if even giving them your # would help.???
 
Our TJMaxx has several different scents for 9.99 for the large jar. What a bargin!
 
I will go in and try, if they let me then YAY, if they say no, well then it was worth a shot!

I just sent you an email because your PM folder was full. Do you know if the Robinson Towne Center store in PA will be a problem? I sure hate to drive 1 1/2 hours and be turned down.

Starann - I sold the last Key Lime Pie today - YIKES! Not sure if we're getting more in til next week or not. I didn't realize it was the last jar when I sold it - I noticed when I went to fill it in!

Also - I may have replied to some of you & then also emailed you as well - I'm getting confused between people's screen names & real names - so sorry if you're hearing from me twice!

I did call 3 stores today & all 3 were willing to accept friends & family from employees that work in other stores, however 1 store did seem hesitant. I also spoke to my district manager who said he can't guarantee that stores outside of our district will take everyone that walks in. Some stores seem to be doing this by invitation only. So please please please call ahead or ask when you go in - I'd hate for anyone to go there & be disappointed. Or PM me your full name & the store (mall name and city name & state) where you plan to go so I can give them a heads up, and leave your name. I'm off until Monday but will gladly do it then. It was CRAZY busy today, the busiest day all year so far!
