I don't want to intrude on the YC thread, but just to let you know if you're in the NWales area - Tweedmill at St Asaph has YC from £1 for the tarts and £1.60 for the votives and from £6 for the jar candles, plus some "featured" fragrances are 20% off. They've got a whole wall full of them! I'm not sure if that's a good price (perhaps not by US standards) but just though I'd let you all know.

I'd never actually seen them before... but the smell Needless to say I'm going back later this week to get a few!

I treated mself to 4 new tarts today, Dh groaned when i spotted the candle shop

I got: Harvest, Pomegranate cider, Cucumber and canteloupe and blueberry scone.

My big Vanilla/Lime Jar has finally given up the ghost.......a trip to the garden centre may be in order next weekdn I feel!

Wantd to ask, who else pops the tarts out of the burner to re-use later? I have a really pleasing looking colection of 6 used, kinda flat tarts in my YK box.

Also - when do I stop re-using them?

i re-use my tarts till i can no longer smel them i also scrape out the jars to melt into my tart burner and make new tarts !

Here's another voucher for the YC stores in the US... I've said it before, but I'll say it again - I was told by a lovely YC store manager that they honour the vouchers for 6 months after they expire. So technically this good till March 2010...

There's some rather funky Halloween stuff too...

I've just put half of a Pomegranate Cider in my burner in the shop, it's yummy!

Yes I always pop them out and reuse, I haven't actually managed to finish one yet though so I couldn't tell you when I stop using them!

It's easier to put the jar in the freezer for 10 minutes then you get a perfect tablet of wax that you can just break up to use in your tart warmer!

Oh totally!!! I find it hilarious/incredibly annoying when the QVC rep swears that we get as much choice here as in the US - yeah, whatever...

I know. Me neither, hun. She doesn't know enough about the different fragrances available and I especially detest the way she lies and says things are discontinued just because QVC can't get hold of them...

BTW I am burning Tropical Fruit which is my total fave at the mo...

Turns out the wax left in my big vanilla lime jar was enough to get 2 tarts out of! Awesome!! Thanks for the tip!!!
