Yankee Candles.............

At the moment I have an orangey one, a mango and something and buttercream, I love the tarts, Ian likes to burn the votives and has just lit beachwalk, it smells like a boudoir in here lol. My excuse for my little eight days at New Year is that I have to stock up on my yankees for the year, I love them. I change my tarts every two weeks, and have three burners, so I work out my calculations to ensure I have enough for a year. I have a surplus of Christmas ones as we haven't been here the last two Christmasses so at least I can get rid of some this year. I like the fruity, clean and seaside smells, I can't do the florals - headache city !!!

Thats te best excuse for a trip i've ever heard!!! :lmao: I'll have to try that one next year. ;)

I don't like the floral ones much either as they give me a headache too, most of them are too strong!

My mum is now addicted to YC LOL.

Enjoying Vanilla Lime in the conservatory plus a 'half n half' mix of Black Cherry and Buttercream in the living room and hall... :goodvibes

I have been out with my friend today yankee candle shopping and now she is addicted:goodvibes she even bought the ones for the car and they are really strong:thumbsup2

I bought a cool cotton jar for my mam as its her birthday 2moro and a shade to go on the top.:goodvibes

I also bought myself some more cool cotton and willow breeze which is really nice.

I got the tart and the candle but the tart is much stronger, this is the first time I have bought the Tarts, can anyone tell me how long they last??

Kerry the tarts seem to last forever!!! :thumbsup2
I break mine into quarters & have them burning for ages, I seem to go through 2 or 3 t lights then get bored & want to change the scent so I take the melted tart out and put in a different one.
I couldn't really guess how long they burn but I reckon it's at least 30+ hours? :confused3

I am currently burning Sweet Violet - I am not too keen on floral scents usually as they can give me headaches bu this ine is not too bad. :thumbsup2

The tarts last for ages and ages and ages. I am still waiting for a baby powder to finish which I have been burning for weeks now, if you look back through this thread see me mentioning it, well that is how long that one is lasting and the hubbie hates it. To be honest I am not that fussed on it either, I prefer the fruity ones.

I bought a lovely fruit punch one from York yesterday but it is a retired one so I could only buy it in a jar but it smells yummy.

I have been collecting tarts and really want to try them all but patiently waiting for one to either burn completely away or to cease smelling but it just ain't happening so they are extremely good value for money. I use the tart burners during the day for the lifetime of one tea light a day.

We're burning Dune Grass at the moment.... I like this one a lot! :thumbsup2

I was doing that too Bev but got so bored of the same scent that every few days I change it now. Its so easy to do (somone on here gave me a tip, can't remember who it was off the top of my head) but when you want to change let the tart harden & then put the whole burner in the freezer for 5 mins and when you take it out push down on one side & it pops out easily. :thumbsup2

Thanks Claire, I may resort to doing that at some point but they certainly do last.:goodvibes
