LOVE my Yankee Candles (like so many others here), but I will only burn certain candles/tarts at certain times of the year. I love Christmas Eve, but it goes back in the drawer after the first week of January. And now that it's spring (well officially -- I'm trying to ignore the snow and cold), my tart warmer holds Lilac. Love the "spicy scents" (Have a huge Spiced Pear), but won't take them out till the fall! And Clean Cotton is a warm weather scent only for me.

Anyone else like this or am I totally insane? ;)

I use the Christmas Wreath scent from the day after Thanksgiving until the Christmas tree comes down. I use Spiced Pumpkin in the fall, and Sea Side Holiday and Clean Cotton in the spring and summer. I love Yankee Candle! :D

I do that!! :teeth: My friend laughs at me.

"MY" scent of the month is Clean Cotton. (Large jar)
Then in the various other places I have Ocean Water, Cherry Blossom and Blueberry Muffin (I love this one and seem to always have it going somewhere).

There are certain ones that will ONLY do around a certain time of year or holiday.

Then, there are others that I love ANY time of year, like Carrot Cake, Buttercream, MacIntosh (can you detect a food theme here - ;) ).

The only one I won't even buy is Clean Cotton -- it is my absolute UN-FAVORITE! YUCK!:p

LOL! You are not insane, I do the same thing!! :p

I love Gingerbread for the winter....or some other "warm" cinnamon/spice scent. I LOVE Pineapple Paradise for the summer, and my new favorite Ocean water.

In the kitchen, I only burn "food" scents such as Blueberry Muffin, Cucumber & Cantaloupe, etc. Island Mango can go either way, as a summer scent, or in the kitchen.... lol

Of course, Buttercream is an all-round favorite of mine, for ANY season, ANY room of the house :)

Hi !I am definetely a season/Yankee candle person.I love Gingerbread and balsam but would never dream of burning it in July :p In the summer it is honeydew, pear, cherry lemonade. Then in the fall it's macantosh, strawberry rhubarb pie, apple pie, blueberry pie.I have been known to do blueberry pie in the summer.;) It's funny the ones people burn at certain times of the year.We were just at the flagship store in South Deerfield 2 weeks ago.We love it there !!!!We have family in the next town over.

I sure do! I usually have a certain one for each month!!! For example-MacIntosh (sp) for September, Pumpkin Spice for October, etc

Seriously, I can't use the "food" scented tarts- they make me hungry!!

I use Harvest in the Fall, Balsam at Xmas, Seaside Holiday in the spring/summer, but if the weatherman calls for rain I put in Storm Watch (it's in right now-we've had 3 days of rain)

After reading all the posts about lilac on the garden section, I went and bought Lilac tarts.:D I'll put them in as soon as the rain ends!

I smelled some really good summer ones last week but was told they aren't available in tarts because they are being "test-marketed" first in candle form. I think one was like a berry lemonade!

I do that, too. I like scents like Gingerbread and Pumpkin Pie in the colder months. When baseball season started, I lit Green Grass. Right now, I'm enjoying spring flowers like Tulips and Lilac Blossoms.

I wondered if I was the only one who does that! Since my all time favorite Christmas scent, Christmas Wish, has been discontinued (except for votive sizes that can only be found at Yankee Candle stores), it goes back in the cupboard after Christmas to be saved for next year.

Right now I have Tulips in my living room(and REAL tulips right outside my front door!) and Vanilla Cookie in the kitchen. The food scents are my favorites because they can be used year round even though they do make me hungry!

I use Clean Cotton in my bathroom year round. It's one of my favorites.

Funny you should mention this now. I just went to YC yesterday to stock up on my "spring scents". I bought Tulip, Honeysuckle, and Lilac. Clean cotton used to be one of my favorites but lately it has been giving me a headache. Maybe because now I am using the tarts and they are a little stronger?

On another note, does anyone have any idea where I can find some tart burners. I wanted to give a couple as gifts but I can't find any.

Didn't YC have them?
Also they have them at their store online.
And I've gotten some at Linens & Things.
Our pharmacy that carries YC also sells some of them.
And some of the Hallmarks that carry the candles have them.
