Yankee Candle Scent/Received thread...COMPLETED!!

Quick question from a Yankee Candle novice....

Does a tart completely evaporate when melted or do you have to pour out some of it after a certain amount of time? It says that the tart should last about eight hours, but mine's lasting alot longer! Help!

I think they mean the SMELL lasts 8 hours, the wax never evaporates....
I freeze mine (tip from someone on this thread), and then it pops right out!!!

I received a package today from Dizcrazy aka Chris. It was wrapped in plain brown paper... what could it be? After the paper was peeled away it revealed a DISNEY BOX! You know, the kind you get when you receive a Disney Gram. I was so excited!

Chris sent a 14.5 oz jar of Macintosh and Peach and 3 votives, Farmhouse Apple, Cranberry Chutney and Clean Cotton. The only scent I have bought before is the Clean cotton, so I am SOOOO looking forward to lighting them and letting the aroma fill my house!

Thanks alot Chris for the wonderful gift and thank you to Meriweather for yet again putting on a great exchange!

Well, well, well, that explains why my tart isn't smelling so wonderful anymore! Thanks for the freezer tip! Going to change tarts now .....

And the tarts....yes. Some last one tea light worth and some 3-4. It depends on the scents. I freeze mine also....upside down. Usually they are already out when I lift up the burner.

I received my package yesterday, but between working and school, I didn't had a chance to get to it until now.

And it arrived today! I had a very yummy smelling surprise when I got home from work today (other than dinner cooking inthe crockpot!). It was my exchange from Carrie.

I got:
a tealight gift set with Autumn Wreath teaights and a very pretty tealight holder
a 14.5 oz jar of Cinnamon Vanilla which everyone in my family loves (even DH)
and a whole bunch of tarts:

Thanks Carrie. I love all the scents. Fall and Holiday are my favorites because I really like all the spicy scents, and I don't care for the floral ones!

I actually called YC that morning because tracking just kept showing it was sent and billed but no other info. They told me if it wasn't received by Friday to call back. I am glad it made it. I guess UPS wasn't scanning the bar code

First thing Samantha said, Mommy she is from Rockwall, why didn't she just bring it over??

Kirby picked out a big bag of potpourri in Autumn Wreath - which I already put in a glass pumpkin jar and put it on top of my piano.

I also received TWELVE votives!!!!!

~3 in Home for the Holidays
~3 in Cinnamon Vanilla

I LOVE all of those scents, and I am really excited about the votives, as I am going to order some votive holders for the smaller rooms of the house.
