Yankee Candle - scent question

I love Yankee Candles, but because of allergies, I can only tolerate the ones that are scented like food, such as Buttercream, Vanilla Cupcake, Pineapple Cilantro, Cranberry Chutney, etc.

I don't ever go near any of the outdoorsy or tree or grass or even the ocean scents because they make me sneeze!

Anyway, my question is this: Do any Yankee Candles have the scent of a burning fire/fireplace?? I came home from work today and when I stepped out of my car I could smell that wonderful scent coming from one of my neighbor's houses.

Thanks!

I have problems with the food scented candles and the heavy scented ones like pine.

Last week they had several scents I didn't see before. I bought one called "Hearthside". It has the picture of a burning fire in a fireplace on the label and the scent doesn't seem heavy. I haven't burned it yet so not sure exactly how it will smell.

? Fireside™ Cozy and rustic ... the scent of a warm, crackling wood fire.

DD works at YC. She said Fireside smells like a burning fire. She said Hearthside is a "Christmas Treasure." (I think that means it is only around for a short time.)

Thanks everyone! I'm going to go back to the YC store this weekend and I'll check both of those out. :)

Fireside is in the regular line & smells like a wood burning stove or campfire. It comes in all forms (votives, tarts, etc.) and is grey-ish in color. Hearthside is a Holiday Treasure - meaning it's a retired fragrance but they brought it back in limited quantities, for a limited time, in large jars only. It smells like a fireplace & is deep red in color.

Love Fireside! Although last year the salesperson in YC told me it was only back for a limited time? :confused3 If it's back on the regular list, I've got to get to a YC store ASAP. :thumbsup2

Last year it was a Treasure - it was only made in small quantities, for a limited time. We got soooo many requests for it that they brought it in the regular line this fall!

Thanks Tara for the update. I'm so happy to hear this. I love this candle and it seems like every time I find a new one they discontinue it. :sad2:

And just as an FYI, I love their fire starter candles as well. So if anyone needs a good firestarter candle, head to your local Yankee Candle or buy them online. Definitely worth it. :thumbsup2

PrincessKsMom - it's in the regular line FOR NOW.....with Yankee you just never know, they pull some of the most popular ones sometimes for no reason! I haven't seen the spring line-up yet so I can't say for sure it will be around after the holidays. I'm going to guess that yes, it will stay, but the year they discontinued French Vanilla made me scratch my head & go :confused3.

I personally don't like Fireside, but we can barely keep it in stock. Before it was in the regular line we'd get maybe 12 jars every 4 months - and we had a wait list for it with about 25 people on it!

Thanks. I'll going to stop by my local store this week. :woohoo:

Just noticed online that the Kindle Candles (fire starter candles I referenced in my last post) are sold out. If anyone needs them, looks like the only place to get them is in your local store, or hope they restock them online.

I'm not sure what's up with the Kindle Candles (fire starters) because we're out in the store too. They're made with extra wax from regular candle production - and that hasn't slowed down, so I have no idea why they're sold out!

I see you're in NJ PrincessKsMom - several NJ stores are in my district - Phillipsburg, Bridgewater, Wayne, Livingston, Rockaway & a few more I can't think of at the moment!
