Yes. Just not glass. If they are filled they may smell them at security.

We never had any of our liquids smelled, we brought in zippy cups, metal water bottles and all sorts of liquids. They did search bags, but that was it.

If your looking for something more compact, check out the vapor bag bottles (Eddie Bauer has some). They're flexible plastic and had a caribiner clip. When you're done with them, you can roll them up and put them in a pocket. Only problem is getting ice cubes to fit inside. Bed Bath & Beyond sells ice cube trays for water bottle openings. Just thought I'd put that out there!
