We tried making ADR's for dinner before MNSSHP Sept 29, this being our first, we didn't know how quick the ressies are taken! everything is essentially full from about 4pm to about 8pm, She also checked GF, Poly, and CR, and nothing was available there either. All we could get was Tony's at 4:20.
So if you haven't made your ADR's for your night, better get on it! :wave2:

Yeah, were also going to MNSSHP on the 22nd and I tryed several weeks ago to get LTT and no luck. Oh well! We have breakfast at Boma that day anyway so I figure we will just get some Pecos Bills which I love, love, love

Keep calling even up to the 29th while you are in WDW. I have been trying to get a CRT breakfast ressie since May for first week of Oct. FINALLY last week I was able to get one. The CM I spoke with on several occasions..don't know how I kept getting the same one...told me that sometimes the best way is to call the day before because they have alot of cancellations the day of/before the date you need.

ADRs can be made 180 days in advance. This may not be convenient for everyone every time. that's just the policy. Maybe I am in the minority for liking the policy, but I enjoy the planning of my ADRs in advance. If there's something specific you want, it is wise to do your ADRs as early as possible. If you plan less than 6 months out, you could try to keep calling every day to get *something*, even if it isnt *the* thing. It seems that WDW is now a trip that really *needs* to be planned 6 months ahead (or more) if there are certain dining experiences you want to have. :confused3 :thumbsup2

:goodvibes I think we will just snack around the world that day at Epcot food n wine festival. I would imagine most TS restaurants close to and in Mk will be packed out and noisy anyway.

I checked for LTT for dinner on 10/10 and it was booked, but they had lunch ADRs. I grabbed one at 2:45pm, but then I started thinking...

We have an 8AM ADR at WCC for breakfast... so we'll be up around 6am... there's no way I'm going to make it until midnight and be at the parks all day and all night for MNSSHP.

So, we decided to keep the WCC ADR, but then we are planning to leave the park to head back to OKW around lunchtime. Go back to the resort for a little while, relax, change into our costumes (if we do that), then head back to MK and grab some lunch at Pecos, CHH, or something before everything closes.

Anyone know what time they will stop letting people in the park? That will be a key factor in determining what time we have to be back at MK.

pirate: We never go to any of the parks on a MNSSHP day. We stay at the resort and relax by the pool all day. We have a nice quiet dinner, then get into our costumes, and head to MNSSHP. My DS5 has no trouble staying for the whole entire party. We find that it makes to long of a day trying to hit the parks on the same day of the party. :thumbsup2

Did you check Wilderness Lodge? It's only a boat ride away!
I made ADRs this morning for Artist Point @ 5:30 on 9/29. It's slightly farther, than the monerail resorts, but only 10-15 min for MK.
Just a thought...

If you are taking kids to the party, I would try getting ressies for a big breakfast or lunch instead. My kids want nothing to do with dinner that night. They just want to get into the park and start the party. We try to have a big meal earlier in the day and then grab a quick bite at the resort CS before heading to the party.

You might actually end up being happy with that time (can't say anything about Tony's- I've never eaten there)! I always wondered why people wanted to spend an hour to an hour and a half eating during a six hour event that they paid extra money for. We stayed until the end last year and I still didn't feel like we had enough time. I actually resented having to stop and get something to eat because we were having such a good time! Figure you can go in your costumes, have dinner and then go into the park and enjoy! Everything was pretty deserted until around 7:30. If I were going this year, believe it or not, that is the time I would want to eat. Have a great time!!!!
