I have a kind of strange question to ask. We ate at Yakatori in Epcot last Saturday. The kids ordered chicken teriyaki. My older son said it tasted like turkey and he was right! I could swear it was turkey, not chicken right down to the greasiness of turkey. Is it a marinade that they use? My kids are still talking about it so I thought I would see if anyone else had the same reaction.

No, it's chicken, but they use a lot of the dark meat, so it can taste more like turkey. There is quite a bit of oil in the marinade to keep it from drying out while being cooked.

Thanks for the answer. We thought that might be the case but DS was adamant it was turkey!
