Our dining window just opened over the weekend and I was surprised to see that Yak & Yeti only had reservations open for lunch, not dinner. I tried multiple different days. Any ideas why?
As long as you are 6 or less....Also, you can just show up and show your card to get seated within 10 minutes.
Ditto.Yak and yeti is the best food location at AK.
That's probably because of the AK hours and when the park closes. Did you call the restaurant and ask (since you're a Landry's member)? Was that the 4:30 time?I was booking at exactly 60 days for our October trip for 3 people....trying for Saturday October 12th. We have the Landry's card but there weren't any reservations after like 4:30 or so. The website was only offering Lunch hours. It was strange.
Wow, that is surprising and unusual. Something must've been going on.....I was wondering about Yak & Yeti too so I’m glad you posted this. It wasn’t open for any sort of lunchtime dining the last time I was at AK in June. My dad and I like to do a walk up there since I have the Landry’s card and we were surprised to find it completely closed at 2pm when we stopped by.
Yea, all we were told by a nearby cast member was that it was closed for lunch and he wasn’t sure about dinner. I was scared it was closing for good.Wow, that is surprising and unusual. Something must've been going on.....
They seem to clear out fast, i actually just released a slot for the 19th and was snagged pretty quick (probably from the monitoring sites)Our dining window just opened over the weekend and I was surprised to see that Yak & Yeti only had reservations open for lunch, not dinner. Da me thing for me I made a reservation for 4.30 and hoping to change it on the day. I'm having the same dilemma with the BoathouseThat's probably because of the AK hours and when the park closes. Did you call the restaurant and ask (since you're a Landry's member)? Was that the 4:30 time?
That's interesting. We're always asked for our card number when reserving (we've used it 5 or 6 times over the years), but we've never been asked to show it or an ID when we check in at the restaurant. But at the very least, I guess they reserve the right to ask. I'll keep that in mind next time we use it.I called them today (phone number is on their website) and made a lunch reservation for October 11. The person asked for my Landry card number and told me I'll need the card and a photo ID to check in.
I have the Landry app on my phone, so I never carry the card itself. I can login, access the card, and also see any available rewards.I forgot to take my landry card to AK last week and I went I. And asked if we could get a table without it. She took my phone number and name and seated us in less than 15 minutes when they were quite busy. The waiter took my phone number and never even asked for ID. The manager came and told me I had my birthday award available and asked me when my birthday is. I told her May and that I was surprised it was still there (this week). She congratulated me and said enjoy! It was a very good lunch.
