Yak & Yeti or Tusker House for Lunch?

Which would you choose and why? Need to decide FAST!

We ate at Y&Y and we were not that impressed. I have never eaten at TH so I can't comment on it.

Haven't tried Tusker House but just ate lunch at Yak & Yeti in September and loved it. Thought the food and service was very good (had the steak & shrimp and fried wontons for dessert). Loved the decor of the restaurant as well. It ended up being one of our favorite restaurants on that trip.

You cannot go wrong with either! Both have excellent food.

Consider, though, that Y&Y is a sitdown, so food is theoretically cooked to order, while TH is a buffet, so food is cooked in larger quantities. (Food is usually still very fresh, as turnover is high.) There is also a limited number of choices at Y&Y compared to TH because of their different styles, and accomodating your food for preference is more difficult and may not be able to be done at TH. TH does give you the opportunity to try many new things and get more of the things you like.

We had Yak and Yeti for lunch a few weeks ago. It was so-so. Not sure we'd eat there again. Considering having Tusker House next time, instead.

We loved Y&Y. We saw fried green beans on the menu and had never heard of them, so we ordered them. They were absolutely delicious. I would give up french fries forever is I could have fried green beans.

Since our trip, we have had them at TGI Friday's. Disney's fried green beans were so much better. You have to try them.

We ate at Y&Y in the beginning of the month for lunch and thought it was very good. I had a steak and shrimp meal (can't remember the name) and it was great!! All of us enjoyed the food and desserts as well as the decor and service. We haven't eaten at the Tusker House since it's become a TS restaurant. We would go back to Y&Y again!! It was one of the best meals we had this trip!!

Had the Ribs at Yak & Yeti last week and they were great. I had to take 1/2 the rack to go.

Another vote for Y & Y! I haven't eaten at the newly revamped Tusker House but Y & Y was a great experience! We ate at the actual restaurant and at the Y & Y CS.

We've nver done TH, but we did Yak & Yeti last month and it was our second best meal of the trip. It will be a return visit for us next September.

Not a fan of Y&Y. We've tried it twice and were underwhelmed both times. Might be an okay choice on DDP because the prices were high but for OOP, we would not go again.

Well--I didn't mean to give it a good review. Just comparing it to Tusker House. Actually, I agree with Pakey.
