We normally eat at Epcot or the resorts but thought we might try this out. Any good?

DS and I ate at Y&Y in Sept 2008 and really did not enjoy our lunch. But I always try to give a 2nd try so DH, DS and I went back in December 2009. So glad we did! We loved our lunch! Hoping from reading other reviews here that our '08 trip was not the norm!

Our reviews and pics are in the links in my signature.

We did dinner at the Y&Y at Christmas 2008. It was really good! We would eat there again. Check out my TR (not my wife's unfinished one) for some pics of the inside, and of the food at the Y&Y.

We have eaten there the last 2 times we were at AK, and really liked it! :)

DH and I ate at Yak & Yeti in August 2008 and thought it was ok, nothing to write home about. Then in December 2009 we decided to give it another go. So glad we did. They were much better than we remembered and we raved about it after we got home. Enjoy!

I would give it about a 6 on a 1-10 scale. the Honey Chicken was not very good. Shrimp Noodles are good if the noodles aren't too soft and the rice and egg rolls were probably my favorite but nothing to write home about. We would eat there again and I would just get a side of the rice and egg rolls.

I've eaten there 3 times and it's a must do for us! We enjoy the fried green beans and egg rolls (sometimes they've been a little greecy) for appetizers. DH LOVES the duck. I like the salmon and ribs. For dessert, DH loves the mango pie but I really like the sorbet! The prices are way inflated... but I'm hard pressed to think of any Disney resturant where this isn't the case. Y&Y is our favorite non-Epcot park resturant. I also love the A/C after walking around AK and getting hot!

We ate there for the first time in June of this year and were very impressed. There were a lot of dishes to choose from and we wanted to try so many! The chicken I had was cooked very well, not dry, and the sauce had a good flavor. They do their fried rice a little differently, but it was really good. Overall, we would go back in a heartbeat. We went for dinner at 6 pm.

We tried it for the first time last August. It was really good and worth trying once! Our only complaint was that the A/C was CRANKED!!!! Great for August but not after Kali!:rotfl:

It's on our ADR list for every trip! It has a wide variety of food and some very good desserts also. It is very unique in it's interior design. We like to go each year.:surfweb:

Food is so-so. I was very sad that we were made to sit upstairs and in a corner far away from all of the cool stuff.

I enjoyed my meal there. It's not fantastic, but it's decent enough and quite different from most of the other WDW restaurants.

The Yak and Yetti table service meal that I got was one of my favorites. It was soo delicious. I loved it! The counter service is quite good too.

We also dined at Y&Y in August 08. We loved the food and the service. The decor is unique. You have to try it at least once (ok, not after Kali). We are going back in December and this is our only repeat ressie. Enjoy.:goodvibes

I ate there for the first time last year and it is my new favorite!

We had a second floor, corner table with a wonderful view of the path towards the dino area (I think).

We shared a few appetizers; the egg rolls with the chili plum sauce (with a glass of plum wine) is to die for! The pot stickers and the fried green beans were also fabulous.

I had the maple tamarind chicken with a side of coconut ginger rice, seared bok choy, and ****ake mushrooms. I didn't leave one bit on the plate.

For dessert, I had the fried wontons and wouldn't share with anyone!

It is one of the few times at Disney I have been able to consume that much food in one sitting!:rotfl:

It's not bad but but let's be honest, it's very expensive Chinese food.
Not gourmet Chinese food mind you, just the kind you find in your home town which you eat from square carton boxes - but a heck of a lot more expensive.

That being said - it was one of the better meals we had at Disney (notable exception was Boma which, in my opinion, was one of the few restaurants that would make it outside of Disney).

this is my favorite restaurant...we try to eat there at least once per trip...we try a different meal each meal...and we havent had a bad meal yet.

we tried it in october for the first time. my family was not impressed. but, maybe we caught them on a bad day. they used too much sauce and the sweet chicken was more like chicken nuggets than a chinese chicken.
