Our last trip to Disney we went to Yak and Yeti and was a bit dissapointed...we were seated in this room that looked as if it was an after thought. we were out of the main room and kind of lost the atmosphere aspect. the food was okay..not spectacular but okay. i felt that the apetizers were better than the actual entrees. i wanted to hear other people experiences to see if maybe it was worth a second chance. thanks :)

I was not impressed. The only restaurant in AK I eat at anymore is Tusker House post refurb.

We have tried Yak twice and will not be in any hurry to return. I think the restaurant itself is nice but the food has not been impressive. We tried different foods both times (appetizers and entrees) and none of us liked any of it. The pho was so bad that we could not eat it and we love pho. The fried green beans was the only dish we deemed "okay" but I can get better at PF Changs. We will go back to eating at Tusker or doing CS at Flame Tree.

Most of the people on these boards love Yak.

We had a good meal here just a couple weeks ago. I had the ribs (fall of the bone, fabulous!) and DH had chicken lo mein, which he really enjoyed. I also had a Yak Attack to drink and it was wonderful! We had a lovely server (but it also wasn't busy while we were there). We would go back.

Funny, I love the little rooms and hate when we're put in the main room!

The appetizers are wonderful there. The entrees are ok, if you pick and choose. The ribs are good, I also like the steak. Except for one time, we've always gotten outstanding service.

I love Yak and Yeti. I had Sweet and Sour Chicken with Jasmine rice, and it was amazing. The service was really great and I can't wait to go back.

Like the apps better as well.Next trip we will do 2 apps for dinner and a dessert or 1 for lunch.
Service was quick and courteous.

We ate there in Sept and the food was good. We were on the second floor and the service was good. But the atmosphere kinda made it weird. We just don't like all the "gods" they have on display. We are going to try the Tusker House next we are in AK.

We ate there last year and it was one of the best meals of our trip! :)

It's so funny how reviews can go one way or another. We were on the DDP and here were our 3 adult entree's:

Crispy Honey Chicken - tempura chicken, broccoli, carrots, honey sauce $17.49

My 11 year old son loved this.

Baby Back Ribs - slow-roasted ribs, hoisin BBQ sauce, chicken fried rice, sweet chili slaw $24.99

I ordered the Ribs, and they were scrumptious. The meat fell off the bone and BBQ sauce was very good.

Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp - skirt steak, tempura-battered shrimp, jasmine rice, stir-fried vegetables, chili plum dipping sauce $24.99

My dh had this and loved it.

We will be back in March 2010 for another hope to be great meal!
