Can Iplease have some opinions on the food here. I was all set to make ADRs for Rain Foreste Cafe and they are not on the dinning play, BOO HOO so there isn't to many choices being in AK. it looks good on the menu but if you have eaten there please give me some opinions, good bad, would go again, wouldn't go there again? TIA :)

We ate there twice on our last trip.

The green beans are amazing. :goodvibes We were trying to convince our waiter to have them set up a stand to buy them to munch on in the park. (Not included on the dining plan, however.)

The rest of the meal was just fine. My dd liked the stirfried beef. I had the fish with a peanut sauce or something like that. It had a good flavor. Not the ultimate in asian food, but certainly decent.

Right next to Yak & Yeti is their outdoor counter service. They don't serve all the items on the menu, but a fair/ok amount. Most people like to purchase the Lo Mein and the mango pie. The mango pie is a rip off, though. It's soooooo tiny. However, that's only at the counter-service. In the restaurant it's a proper size and VERY VERY delicious.

The food is like P.F Chang quality. Slightly nicer than Panda Express, but still fakey. But, I've had real Chinese food, and I actually like the fakey Chinese food better. =P Well, except when it comes to eggrolls. But I hear eggrolls are not really "real" Chinese food.

We ate there last month and thought it was good! I had the shrimp skewers, DH had the steak and shrimp, and DS had a kids meal with an eggroll and fried rice. We would eat there again. :thumbsup2

My husband and I really liked it. The desserts aren't amazing in the sense of creative or themed but the dishes were great.

We have eaten there a few times. I don't think they are on the dining plan though, they said the only discount they accept is annual passholder.
I could be wrong.

Hmm, The girl I talked to said said it is but sometimes the person you talk to is wrong. I am really on the fence with this one, I might stop for lunch before I register in the hotel, has anyon eate lunch atthe wave?

The Wave was a huge disappointment. The food was not "bad" by any means, but it was not good either. It didn't have anything at all to recommend it.

It's too costly for what it is, and the decor is boring as all get out. Skip it.

We had a lovely appetizer and drink at Yak and Yeti (light snack sort of thing). We'd go back.

It's on the plan. We ate there last month and used our DDP.

Love , love, love the food. We will be returning this week.
I agree that the wok fried green beans are sooooooooo good. Other things we enjoyed were the duck, tempura shrimp, and cream cheese wontons. The bloody mary was worthy of a repeat performance too.

We ate there in June, pics and review in my thread link, and the entrees were very very very good!

Thanks for all this info because I was just trying to decide tonight if we should keep this meal or change it.
