Yahoo mail system outage?

Is anyone else not able to access their yahoo mail account? my account has been down all day and it seems to be system wide. I of course needed to access it earlier today

I've been on it on off all day without any issues, just checked it now and its fine.

I have been trying all day but it always gives me an error. I thought it was just my account.

I had an error message of some sort when I first logged on this morning, but it's been working fine the rest of the day. I just checked again, and it's fine.

I have not been able to access my Yahoo e-mail for over 24 hours now And there have been NO updates and/or information from Yahoo at all There are a LOT of complaints on Facebook about this too

Just tried it again and no luck. I've had this account forever, and was waiting for messages from my son's school Message i'm getting during sign-in is this:

That is the exact same message I keep getting but after 24 hours, it is wearing very thin

I haven't been able to access my account since last night and have been getting the same message. DH on the other hand has had no problems with his account. Seriously irritating!

Wonder if it has anything to do with the hacking issue or something else security related. One of my friends that was hacked last month has Yahoo & I think the hacking goes much wider and is much more US centric than we have been led to believe.

I just checked and can get into mine without a problem. My account was hacked last month too, but it's fine now. Weird.

I didn't have any problems getting on mine, but I rarely use it. I got an email ,in my servers email program, but it was supposedly from yahoo yesterday that said because I broke some rules, 2 yahoo emails were being held hostage, till I resolved the matter. I had no idea what they were talking about. I didn't click on the link in that mail, forwarded it to yahoo, and signed in on the regular page..and there were no emails in there, lol

No problems today, but yesterday it was asking me to type in a code - only problem was there was no code in the box they were asking me to copy.

Mine has been kinda screwy the past few days and my mom's yahoo account go hacked last night.

I am going on 48 hours with no Yahoo e-mail Supposedly, it will be back up by 3 Pacific time but I sure am not going to bet on that

Quite honestly I suspect Yahoo and the other companies are working to solve the problems and likely do what they can to track down the hackers to try and put a stop to as much of this as possible. Obviously it's probably better to do as much of it as possible as quietly as possible in the hopes of gaining control again.
