I just got a Pin offer for Disneyland that is 35% off, the three Disneland hotels. Times available are Jan 5 - Feb 11, Feb 21- mar 11, and April 25- May 27. We were thinking on going in May, to catch the WOC, now it will be easier to convince my husband. :cool1:

No, it just says save up to 35% at the Grand Californian, on regular and concierge rooms. Sorry I couldn't help more.

I have been waiting for one of these elusive pins for-ev-er. How do I know if I am eligible, now that they won't tell me when I call? Will I definitely get an email?

PS: LUCKY! :)

You won't definitely get an e-mail - it is quite random. I finally got a Disneyland PIN offer for this fall, after getting several for WDW. Hopefully I'll get one for the Jan-March as well :thumbsup2

I got two emails for the 35% pin code on different email accounts. Is the pin assigned to your name or can someone else use it. I will not be using mine as I have my trip planned for November.

I got one too, but for Dec! They want us to stay on site for DD's bday....I'm very tempted but gotta see if we can swing it.

I don't know how you get them, I used to get alot for Disney World, this is only my second for Disneyland. The only way I can think they got my email, was when I requested the vacation planning DVD, or it could have been when I signed up for the weekly Disney insider newsletter. :confused3 Try signing up for both of those, you never know.

Yes it's assigned to your name.

I just got back yesterday and today I got a PIN number. It's too bad I won't be going back that soon....It's for the same dates as the first post.

Does everyone who is signed up for email receive this offer. Will it become public after awhile. Also if your travel dates partly fall in the window for the sale can you get credit for those days that are 35% off.
It is my first trip to Disney and I could use some help on getting the best deal. I am already ticked at myself for not getting the AAA discount:sad2:

No, not everyone who signs up gets them. It is very random. No one really knows how they generate the lucky ones each time the release the PIN codes, so the more things you sign up for the better your chances are. Still hoping to get one. I Better check DHs email!!

I received it too, and will be using it for a big trip in February!!! :cool1:

These are the rates I was quoted for the Grand at 35% off rack rate.

$247.00 for weeknights and $286.00 for Friday and Saturday. You need to add 15% tax to these prices and a $13.80 resort fee for everyday.

Hope that gives you somewhat of a clue.

Oh, and how I got picked to receive the PIN number, I have no clue. :confused3

I am assuming this is for a standard room?

Not sure if everyone receives the offer, but I got one this summer (which prompted my Sept. trip). When I called in though there was a better deal with the 5-day hopper tickets for the price of a three; so in booking a package with a room at the GC plus our discounted park hopper tickets it ended up less expensive than getting the room at 35% off...if that makes sense... HAVE FUN!!

I also got this pin yesterday and today was able to book the GC for 4 nights Jan 16-20. Although the pin says "up to35%" I was told that it really is 35% and not less.

The total cost (which includes a Saturday and Sunday night on the long weekend) was $265.65 per night. We'll still have to pay the resort fee per night though, but we save $400 over the regular rates. This is for a standard room. I'm so excited!:cheer2: I've always wanted to stay on site....the pin came in really handy as I had just booked our flights last week.

As for how I got this PIN, I had got one earlier this year that I couldn't use, likely got that one as a result of ordering the DVD. But I also recently signed up on the Disneyland website and started using their plannong tools and also signed up for the Birthday Club.
