I guess this question applies to all signature restaurants that have an a la carte menu...

Are you entitled to a "side dish" to go along with your entree?

Thanks in advance.

We were on the ddp, and we were allowed a side dish along with our entree. Enjoy - It was the best meal on our trip!

All of the entrees on the menu come automatically with a side. At Yatchsman it is usually some kind of potato. You do not get the potato and also one of the sides that's listed at the bottom of the menu. Those items are extra. Now I don't care for potatoes, so have always asked if I could have a different side. Yatchsman has always allowed me to exchange one of those listed at the bottom for the potatoes that comes with the steaks. Artist Point has also allowed me to exchange the side that is listed with an entree for one listed at the bottom of their menu. You don't get both the side that's on the menu for your entree and then get to choose one listed under 'sides' though. Being a Signature restaraunt has nothing to do with it. Le Cellier will allow you to exchange sides as long as that side is listed for another entree. They will not let you exchange for any of the sides that are listed seperately on the bottom of their menu under 'sides' however. Your choice must come from one of the sides listed with another entree. For example, if you want the filet, but don't like risotto you could exchange it for the mashed potatoes that's listed for the strip steak, but could not get the asparagus that's listed at the bottom of the menu under sides.
