Hi all!

I had initially planned to have a nice, early meal at the Yachtsman after relaxing in our YC room (a midday break from AK). Then return to AK afterwards to experience Pandora at night, and maybe one or two attractions.

I’m wondering if I should keep my early (5pm) ADR or just snack that afternoon and have a late meal at Yachrsman (9) after AK closes.

I’ve never been there so I don’t know how slow the service is, and I don’t want to be too rushed. Or full at bedtime lol!

Thoughts, opinions welcome!

I have always found Yachtsman to be a slower paced meal, what I would expect from a signature restaurant. Definitely not rushed, but not slow to the point of being bad service. Generally this is a 75 - 90 minute meal for us (3 courses). No appetizer or dessert and you could probably easily get that closer to an 60 minutes.

A 9pm meal there would be a very relaxing way to end your day, assuming you don't have kids in which case that would be too late for them and definitely not relaxing lol. It is a big meal right before bed though. If you're a night owl type who will be up until midnightish anyway, should not be that big of a problem.

I was thinking it would be a nice end to the day! Probably a bit more so than rushing to do the Star Wars VR experience at Disney Springs. But I’d love to squeeze that in (hence the earlier ADR).

I’ll think more on what I think we’ll be eating. I’d love to do all three courses but don’t know if we will If we could get Oysters Rockefeller as an app instead of in that $100 platter, I’d say we’d get all courses for sure.

Still conflicted, although it sounds like it could work either way. Thank you for your experience!
