Hello, planning a trip to Disneyworld in June..i want to stay at yacht club or beach club and wondering if I'm better off with water view room or club service, I can't afford both. We stayed ( family of four) at boardwalk last year and enjoyed both but limited budget for this trip. Please share your opinions on where money is best spent ( view or club level) ? Thank you!!

Are you saying the water view would be just a room without club level? If they’re close in price I would for sure pick club level over having a water view.

Some things to help you decide: How often will you be in your room to enjoy having water view? Will you be at the resort enough to enjoy club level?

I would choose water view. I love the lagoon view rooms (and would specifically request one). They are quite peaceful and I love watching the boats go by. I find the CL floor to be a bit loud.

I had my first YC stay last year and was able to experience both (stayed WV CL) and I would choose CL. I did enjoy the beautiful view from our balcony, but I enjoyed CL so much more.

Hi... good things to consider..my kids did really enjoy club level at boardwalk so I guess I'm leaning towards that..as long as our view is decent I'm ok..

Do you spend a lot of time in your room or on the balcony?

The majority of the standard view club rooms at both Yacht & Beach look out over the hotel entrance. So your view will be the road leading into the hotel, the Porte Cochere, parking lots & bus stops. There are a very few standard rooms that are on the back side of the hotel which have roof views with a bit of water past that. Yacht Club has a couple of rooms that have a dumpster view.

If the view is important, go with the waterview room because a decent standard view room aight not happen. There are threads that show room views for both resorts in the resorts community subforum. You might want to check some views & see what you might get.

The water view at Yacht Club is so beautiful that I spend a lot of time on the balcony. Watching the sun rise over Epcot/World Showcase is a magical start to each day. For me, an upgrade from standard view is worth it to fully take advantage of a balcony.

We love the water view rooms at Yacht Club!
On our last two visits we had rooms toward the very far end of the building and the views were awesome. I always like to point out that some have shower only. This doesn’t matter to many, but we prefer having a tub/shower combo.
On our next trip we are planning on club level. We will not have the dining plan so I think this will be a huge plus, especially now that our two children are teens.
