Great pics everyone. :thumbsup2 I will be staying at the Y&B resort for a few days 04/02-04/05 and this thread has been a nice preview.

Quick question: Can you walk to Epoct AND Disney Hollywood Studios from this resort? That;s what I read. If so about how long of a walk is it?

Thanks, and keep the pics coming. I'll be sure to post a few of my own when I get back. pirate:

yes, you can walk to hollywood studios, its about a 20-30min walk. you have to go around boardwalk and curve around the path. the boat ride is faster,

No jacuzzi in the BC quiet pool, eh? That's too bad. From what I understand, our room is near the quiet pool and I wa so looking forward to the jacuzzi. There's only one near SB?

Anyone know what the weather & crowds are like in late April/early May??

theres a hottub or jacuzzi in the VIllas quiet pool by the bbq pit,not sure if thats what your asking or just BC area.

Bus from YC to MK will take approx. 15 - 20 minutes after you are on the bus (it stops at BC after YC).

To take the monorail from Epcot to MK, first you would walk to Epcot through International gateway entrance (about 5 - 10 minute walk from YC), then you would have to walk through part of World Showcase and then through Future World (probably a 15 - 20 minute walk? never timed this, but just a guess), then you would walk out the main Epcot entrance to the Monorail entrance, you would take this monorail to TTC and then transfer monorails to the express monorail to MK. So, the whole trip would take minimum of 45 minutes or most likely closer to an hour.

Hope this helps! We have done this route in reverse when park hopping from MK to Epcot. It is good for relaxation early afternoon, but definitely not the quickest route.

and once you are there, someone stay in line and the other go to the front and ask the castmember if you can ride in the front w/ the conductor & if no one has asked yet ( you will know ,cause they will be standing off to the side alreay ). its really cool to experience that, and they give you a pin or a card. one of the simple but fun secrets. have fun.

They don't allow this anymore. Since the monorail accident a couple years ago no more riding in front.. :sad1:
