Yacht/Beach Club pool

Hi...Have reservations at BC & Poly for mid August. We plan to spend a lot of time at the pool. How crowded is SAB since BC Villas opened? Any info greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the DIS forums! We just returned 2 weeks ago from the Beach Club and the Poly. Stormalong Bay was not crowded at all when we were there at any time. There were many times when we had entire sections of the pool to ourselves. In order to swim in the pool you have to show your room ID to the towel attendant and she issues you a wrist band. Everyone swimming in the pool had to be wearing a wrist band. I saw several people who didn't have one stopped by lifeguards. Most were just unaware that they needed one. Stormalong Bay was less crowded than the Poly volcano pool although the quiet pool at the Poly was never crowded.

I you have a few older children, I would suggest bringing your own tubes for the pool. They charge alot to rent them. I also
called hotel and spoke to someone at the pool and they said
it was ok.

How do you transport the tubesfrom home? I'm still blown away that in a delux hotel they charge you for tube rental!
