I loved Phyllis/Michelle's dress the best, of course you have to have her body to pull it off.

Very happy about Billy. Not so happy about "juicy." It isn't that I don't like her as an actress, but I hate that the Ciccone family has taken over ATWT. Especially here at the end.

I recently checked in to Y&R after not having done so for a few years now. I caught wind of the Liz/Jill parent storyline and wanted to see what they were going to do now! I've been watching since the beginning.

This show used to be so good. They had well planned and thought out storylines, at least more than they do now. There was a consistency with the characters that isn't there now.

These baby storylines and people changing husbands/wives/partners all the time leaves me dizzy! Things that are totally out of character for someone!

Not only that, but why do they have to give all those uncommon names to the newer characters? Right now I'm having a hard time thinking of some of them, but are some of them Chance, Cane, Tucker, Deacon, Ryder, Rafael? It just doesn't seem realistic when most of the newer characters all have uncommon names. Does anybody else agree with any of this?

Just read that Katie from ATWT is joining Y&R as an employee of Tucker. Love Katie, but seems like the cast is getting a little too large?

oh this is getting ridiculous.

Y&R is becoming a refugee camp for all the soaps that are ending this year.

they are letting go good actors (patty/emily) and good storylines for a larger cast with crap storylines.

no to mention that the clips of those who are here are so much shorter now then they used to be.

no you get 4 or 5 storylines between each commercial most days (not all some days are specific to only 1 or 2 stories and 2-3 groups like the party where adam was killed or not)

i just wish they would 1 stop having babies (really it's getting annoying since they are aging them so fast) and get some really good storylines going and stick with them - not drag out crappy ones and forget the good ones

oh and would they please remember or write down the history of each character so they stop changing history (ASHELY"S PREGNANCY for starters)

I hate it when they add new characters. The characters they already have come with many layers and they are not established, then they bring new characters on. It gets to be too much for a life time viewer like me. Then you have characters like Victor and Jack still coming out on top. What's the point in investing in newbies when all the main storylines go to the same characters?

What did you all think of the EMMY's?

I thought Sharon was ON SOMETHING ... she came out with Nick/Josh and she was babbling all over the place, smiling from ear to ear and nothing was even funny ... then she goes to OPEN the winning envelope and then says "OOPS, we need to tell you who the nominations are first" ... ugh. She probably leaned over to Josh and said "my bad" ... I HATE when people say that ... ugh.

Not surprised at all that Y&R did not win much, I think the show has been struggling ...

THRILLED that Billy Miller won!!! What a fabulous acceptance speech he gave!!!

I will say I watch TB&TB and the s/l's over there have been great AS WELL AS the acting!!! So AWESOME to them for taking the TOP AWARD of the evening!!! But why is it still just 30 minutes ... or wait I mean barely 15 minutes with commericals.

My only complaint about TB&TB is that Ron Moss is ... well, not HOTt like Regis thought and then asked him to take his shirt off ... PLEASE NO ... his hair style is just so dated.

Dick Clark crying had me crying ... omg, what a surprise for him and all the guest singers they had perform ... fabulous!!!

Sweet Marie Osmond, she has had her share of struggles of late and she looked fabulous!!!

Jack tells Emily that he's hired Michael to represent Jamie, he's handled all the fees as well. He tells her its the least he can do, if he had of figured out what Patty was up to sooner Jaimie wouldn't have been involved. Emily is grateful, they kiss.

Patty reaches out to another patient at the hospital, the nurse tells Patty she handled it that well and maybe she could start reaching out to other patients like that. Paul goes to see Patty, she's quite lucid and Paul comments on how well she's doing with her new meds and from the help of Dr. Fowler..

Victor tells Adam Michael is going to put him on the stand. He tells Adam he has to tell the truth, how he's responsible for Hightower's murder. Adam tells Sharon he intends on telling the truth just not on Victor's terms. He tells her when she hears the whole story he might not seem like such a lost cause after all.

Phyllis tells Nikki that she's tired of coming in second with NIck and that he and Sharon are like Victor and Nikki, endgame. Later Sharon comes to get Faith, Nikki leaves to the courthouse. Phyllis and Sharon discuss NIck and because Sharon helped NIck, is once again the heroine.


NIck tells Michael that he'll fire him and get another attorney if he isn't allowed to take the stand. NIck takes the stand and almost loses his temper with Pomperance and calls him a son of a *****. The judge tells NIck he's in contempt of court.

Victor shows up at court with Adam. Michael wants Adam to take the stand and for the voice recording to be entered into evidence. Pomperance objects but the judge allows it.

Adam takes the stand, once Michael starts questioning him he becomes erractic, he asks for Sharon and starts claiming he can't breathe, he shouts out that Victor is trying to kill him. He becomes increasingly more agitated and the guards have to haul him out. On the way out he starts yelling, I can't go to jail, I'll kill myself. He's taken to the psych hospital and the orderlies are taking him to his room, he yells, "call the FBI, they're trying to kill me" Patty over hears the commotion from her room.

•At Nick's trial things don't go well, the maid and guard both testify to hearing Nick threaten Adam. Nikki is questioned about what went on in the cabin while Phyllis loses it when questioned about the jacket (she thinks she has only made things worse for Nick)•Meanwhile, Adam is forced to come back to Genoa City when Victor brings the Brazilian police and threatens to shoot Adam. On the flight back, Sharon tries to convince Adam to do the right thing and tell the truth, she thinks by doing that he is proving to others that he is not as evil as they think he is. He does have good in him•Sharon Case says her character still has deep feelings for Adam despite the bad things he's done, she says "that is the funny thing about love. You may choose not to be with somebody because of how they behaved, but it doesn't mean your feelings magically evaporate". Sharon is looking for closure in her relationship w/ Adam•Adam, Sharon and Victor arrive back in Genoa City, Victor wants to take Adam right to the courthouse while Sharon goes to get Faith. Sharon runs right into Phyllis as she tries to pick up Faith and Phyllis in a pissed off mood blames Sharon for the problems in her marriage. Sharon gets pissed as she is not interferring in their marriage, she leaves with Faith•Back at the courthouse, Nick takes the stand in his own defense and Owen immediately goes for the attack pissing off Nick. Adam and Victor arrive in court, Adam takes the stand and is described as a hostile witness. According to Joshua Morrow, Adam pulls a stunt that surprises everyone!!

Y&R’s Wilson Bethel (Ryder) fired! But Signy Coleman (Hope - Adam's mom) returns!
Sadly, hot newcomer Wilson Bethel confirms to Soapgeist that he is indeed leaving Y&R. The pec-licious actor tells Suds, “I’ve had a great time on this show.” On the plus side of things, according to head writer Maria Arena Bell, the Emmy-nominated mistress teases Suds exclusively that Emmy-nominated actress Signy Coleman will be returning to Y&R in a special episode surrounding Adam Newman! Yes, Emmy alert! Can’t wait. I demand to know more about Adam’s childhood. You know it’s sick. Really sick. Like killing an animal sick.
