I know he was Hope's son and came to Genoa City.

How and why did he become bad and was he always bad?

Is it jealousy over Victors other kids or is he just plain mean and wanted revenge for Victor not staying with Hope.

And finally why did he take/switch babies?

Hope was so down to earth and I am surprised that Adam turned out like this.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Honestly the change in the "Adam" character is really odd. He seemed normal when he came to GC. I actually felt sorry for him because of the way everyone treated him like a second class citizen, especially Nick & Victoria. They really were awful to him. It was Nick/Vic/Nickki that were ugly, not Adam in the beginning. Then it looked like Victor died, Nick & V treated him like he was the illegitimate son of a hooker even putting him off the ranch because they hated him, will is read and V had left Adam pretty much everything including control of Newman, he got the big head and it was war with Nick/Vic vs Adam. Turn out V is not dead and he joins the others in turning on Adam (which I thought was unfair since they had treated him so badly)

Adam gets caught up with Jack for revenge, frames V for murder, gets caught and goes to prison. Jack gets off with Adam taking the fall. He started damaging his eyes while in prison to pretend to go blind and actually ends up going blind. Though it seems that he sees a lot better now than he did a year ago!

Then all of a sudden his character basically went crazy. Messing with Ashley, getting with that guy, switching babies. None of this is anything like the Adam we 1st saw. This Adam is Psycho!! So no, he was not always this bad and nothing that I saw would justify his current evilness other than ratings.


Oh and he switched the babies because he was up against the wall. Ashley had lost her baby because of him, she thought she was still PG because of him and Taylor and it was all going to come crashing down if he did not come up with a baby.

A spoiler was posted a few days back that Lauren's parents (the stinking rich ones) gave up her identical twin at birth, and she is out for revenge. Stupid! I've also read that it was a hoax, but it is looking more and more like it is true. I still think that this story had no ending and they are making it up as they go!

I still have this love hate for Adam...one minute I cant stand the man but than when he gets all teary eyed when Victor talks to him ...I feel so sorry for him. He is such a psychopath and should not go to prison but into a mental institution. He cant help himself but to be a very scary loony.

Today's Canadian show confirmed it. We heard her voice in numerous mama bear scenes. In the end credits, Tracey Bregman was listed as playing Lauren Baldwin/Sarah Smythe. Sarah you will soon see, is the name mama bear is going by

I am sad to see Michael Muhney leave, especially since I follow him in Twitter. He is a very nice guy and it is obvious by his tweets, he is history.

ok here's the detailed report for todays show

scene 1 - Adam and Patty in the hospital room. Patty freaking out (shocking) that they won't believe her story about Adam knocking her out when he grabs her and gives her a shot of the same drug he gave the security guard yesterday - interesting, in this day of AIDS awarness and knowing that it can be transmitted via sharing needles why on earth would they put that into the storyline???

scene 2 - the ball - nothing special here except the DA tells Victor and Nikki he will get to the bottom of what happened and those involved will pay no matter how infulential they are.

scene 3 - Sharron with faith day dreaming about - wait for it - NICK - shocking -

opening

scene4 - Chole and Chase - blah blah blah -= nothing

scene 5 - terrible trio at the ball talking about being clear on the plan Ryder is a tad wishy washy about what's about to happen

Victor and Nikki talk to the "group" about the DA and the investagation

"Patty" wakes up when a dr shakes her and the security guard discuess what happened. that Emily was on the floor when the security guard came in

Patty/Emily calls Jack and tels him Adam got away.

Adam shows up in Sharron's room and is holding Faith with she comes in the room



that's it for today. so basically - not a heck of a lot happened it will be tomorrows show that is the juicy one according to the preview

thanks for the step by step show for us.....sounds like they were just moving forward...nothing great.

And as for the both of them having the same needle...maybe that's what they wanted to show because maybe she/Patty will end up with AIDS or HEPC or something that the cop also has.....who knows anymore with this show.
