Christine was attacked by Tom Fisher when she was fourteen years old and went off and had Ryder that summer.

Late in life Ryder found Christine and now she is out to get revenge on Micheal Baldwin for raping her and destroying her marriage to Paul Williams by having Isabella come between them.



Christine also wants to deliver some pay back to Phyllis for ruining her marriage to Danny and running over Paul with her car! Lauren gets into the mix because Cricket always hated Lauren all her life and as a way to get back at Micheal... not to mention the way she treated Tracy. Now does Nina become an ally to Cricket her old friend? Maybe... once Christine fills Nina in on how Phyllis drove her car into Paul.

Oh wow! So was it thought before the acress that previously played Patty (Andrea Evans I think??) was suppose to be his mom not going to be any more?

Well, the idea of a Nina, Paul, Jill storyline almost had me roped back in, but if the rumor is true I'm finished. That would be a slap in the face to the show's history. Cricket was very pure, virginal, naive little girl when she came into town. Ryder would need to be alot older than Chance, but seems young. And Cricket and Michael were almost married for God's sake! I guess I'm done.

You know, I wish LAUREN would do something with her HAIR. I watch the show and all the ladies are always changing up their hair styles but Lauren continues to have that big piece of hair going across her face...... Oh and add MAC to that list.....every day with that FAKE ponytail.

That dress on Phyllis on Friday was awful. She looked like a hooker.

It "could" work for Cricket to be his mom... from this angle, anyway...the actress who plays her is a Bell, was always a fan favorite - may be a way to revive the show after the budget problems, etc. It's in her best interest, financially, to re-sign with the show.

That would be so far fetched that the story line would be stupid. No way could that be cricket....she does not have that in her. She and Michael were engaged and great friends and law partners after all the stuff that he went to prison for, so to say she comes back for revenge makes absolutely no sense at all.

I am starting to think that Gloria will turn out to be Kays daughter. Some how that ring will surface and Michael or Kevin will have it and Gloria will see it and say something like....where the heck did you find that old thing...it was mine that was given to me by a relative and one day it was gone.

I have thought the same thing and seriously...I HATE the thought of that. I wonder if that is why they have kept her on the show because she is just a total nit wit (and don't see that getting any better if she is her daughter). I can't stand the way she is coming up with stupid schemes and then having her sons bail her out. I really realy hope that is not the case.

Guiding Light star Daniel Cosgrove has found a new daytime gig and, as previously reported, it will not be on One Life to Live. The two-time Emmy nominee will join former co-star Tom Pelphrey on As the World Turns. Cosgrove began his daytime career on All My Children.


After about a four-month break, Daniel Cosgrove is returning to daytime television. The actor, who became a hot commodity upon the cancellation of Guiding Light, will remain in the Procter & Gamble family: he's joining the cast of As the World Turns.


Cosgrove made his daytime debut in 1996 on All My Children. There, he played the role of Scott Chandler for two years before branching out to roles in primetime. In 2002, Cosgrove returned to daytime as a member of the cast of Guiding Light. During his seven-year run with the now-canceled soap, Cosgrove earned two Daytime Emmy nominations -- one for Supporting Actor in 2008 and a Lead Actor nod in 2009. It was that acclaim, coupled with a fan following and his good looks, that made several soaps express an interest in him when, in April, it was announced that Guiding Light would be going off the air.


Earlier this year, Cosgrove's name had been brought up as a possible candidate for the role of Joey Buchanan on ABC's One Life to Live. Though several soap web sites reported that Cosgrove's migration to Llanview was a done deal, for one reason or another, Cosgrove never signed his name on the dotted line.


Since that time, Cosgrove signed on to appear in the online soap, Venice: The Series, opposite former Guiding Light co-stars Crystal Chappell (ex-Olivia Spencer; Carly Manning, Days of our Lives) and Jessica Leccia (ex-Natalia Rivera). Cosgrove later backed out of the online series, citing his work schedule as the reason for his unavailability.


When he joins As the World Turns, Cosgrove will be reunited with his former Guiding Light castmate, Tom Pelphrey (Mick Dante; ex-Jonathan Randall; Guiding Light), who made his first ATWT appearance earlier this week.


Cosgrove's first airdate has yet to be announced nor has As the World Turns made public the name of the character that Cosgrove will be playing.

•Jeff, Gloria and Jill get their money back from Nick. Jill intends to invest her money wisely this time. Jeff and Gloria immediately quit on Kevin, leaving Kevin to give Ryder more responsibility at the coffeehouse. Later, Michael confronts Ryder believing he is the one who sent the rat to Lauren
•Jack and Ashley seperately make it known to Neil and Katherine that they know about the stocks and want in. Ashley makes it clear that she is on her own and that Jack has no idea what she is doing
•Heather's back! Paul tells Heather that he is interested in Nina! Heather seems happy for him. Later, Paul and Jill agree to be a fake couple to throw off Katherine's suspicions
•Jack tells Sharon if he gains back control of Jabot he may have an offer for her - perhaps a job! Later, Sharon questions Adam as to why he stopped her from spending time with Ashley and Faith, he lies to her.

Next - Mac and Billy - boring!; Cane wants to go back with Phillip to Austrailia; Patty tells Phyllis she knows about her and Jack!

What's the deal with this Daisy girl? She annoys the crap out of me and I think SHE is the one who sent the rat.... I just haven't figured out WHY yet. Could she be Ryder's sister or something?

•Billy gets nowhere with Mac then proceeds to ask Katherine to talk sense into her head. Katherine is shocked when Billy reveals Mac wants to be a surrogate
•Nina finds Chance and Chloe together and has a fit. Nina complains to Katherine and then realizes how much she sounds like Jill. Later, Phillip reveals that he has to leave Genoa City this angers Nina believing Phillip is abandoning his family again!
•Phyllis listens to a message left for Nick from Patty. Phyllis confronts Patty telling her to drop the act, that if she were living in the past she wouldn't have known about Nick. Patty fesses up, I know about you and Jack! She saw them having sex! Phyllis now realizes the motive behind Patty going after Summer. Patty keeps calling Phyllis Diane!

Next - Michael drops Ryder as a client; Lily asks Mac if she is reconsidering being their surrogate; Ryder is telling someone over the phone that Lauren got their present but thinks he is the one who sent it to her

Why was Phyllis stealing all the packets of sweet n'lo today from Crimson Lights? Did anyone notice that while she was sitting there talking to Lauren?

I'm getting sick of Lily's hats. I know she is wearing the hats to cover her bald head, but the are so obviously bulging from holding all of her hair that they really annoy me. (Clearly, I need to get a life!)
