i was flipping around and ended up on Y&R yesterday just as sharron was on the phone - then the knock and the box

as soon as she opened it i though BS - even Cassandra's baby stuff has my maiden name on it sinch my health card haden't been changed into my married name but that's because i don't feel like going for a 4th time to ask them to change itl


i'm pretty sure that sharron - still an abbott - would have legally changed it

it is ALWAYS the last name of the mother - has nothing to do with the father at that point

• Neil, Devon, Cane and Lily are preparing to go to Colleen's memorial. Neil notices Lily doesn't look well, Cane agrees. The doctor is called, he says Lily's immune is too weak to attend the service, Lily is crushed • Colleen's family and friends gather to say their goodbyes and celebrate her life. Victoria shows up and reads a letter from her father, this pisses Billy off. Later, Victoria overhears JT telling Mac that Victor made Colleen's life hell yet he's alive and she is dead. • Sharon tells Doris that she wants less to do w/ Nick, Sharon makes the decision to go scatter the ashes of "Faith" alone. Doris doesn't approve, when Sharon leaves, Doris informs Nick of Sharon's plans. Sharon is shocked to see Nick • Nikki is still at the hospital w/ Victor, things seem fine until Victor takes in w/ a seizure

Next - Patty is finally shown; Jack and Traci learn from Paul that Patty's plea will be insanity

That is a good catch....didn't even think of that when I read it. She has not been a Newman for a very long time.

That shouldn't be too hard to pull off

I think they should go with an insanity plea...she is rightfully so. She will still get a long sentence but in a psych hospital.

She had the best script of all the actors. And she has been the most believable over this past year. she is a good actress. Played her part great

•Paul visits Patty, she's at a complete lost about what has happened. She has gone back in time, she thinks she is still married to Jack, John is alive and that Traci has just had Colleen. Later, Paul visits Traci sorry for her loss and tells Traci and Jack about Patty but Jack thinks Patty is putting on an act
•Victor's seizure was caused my his medication, he's fine now and asks to see Faith. Nikki brings Faith to Victor, she can't get over how much Faith looks like Nick, Ashley storms in angry to see Nikki w/ Faith. Nikki leaves, Ashley and Victor talk and come to the decision to divorce
•Adam is on the phone talking business at Newman, Victoria comes in and faces off w/ Adam saying he doesn't have the authority to do so. Michael is in the middle of playing referee between the two
•Nick confronts Sharon for shutting him out, keeping him from saying goodbye to his daughter. Sharon apologizes realizing what she's done, Nick and Sharon scatter the ashes of "Faith"
•Ashley tells Adam about her divorce from Victor and wanting the ranch as part of her divorce settlement!

Next - Sharon tells Jack to let it go in regards to Patty and Victor; Nick tells Phyllis he does not want to shut her out, he will tell her about the ashes if she wants to hear; Billy and Mac, Chance and Chloe are together - Billy and Chloe face off

I'm so glad the crying over Colleen is over, I couldn't take it anymore! I loved the actress that played her and hate that they killed her, she needed to stay on the show.

It was so funny watching Victor today....I couldn't help from laughing. He's so old I was surpised he could moving around like that!

I am also glad Y&R is over all the sadness of Colleen's death. I loved the balloons everyone had as well as Lily having one.

How absolutely ODD that both Sharon and Ashley selected FAITH for a name....you know if it was a more common name....I could understand but Faith? Every time Ashley speaks of her baby now, and Sharon and Nick hear the name, it will be very painful.

With the box saying Baby Newman, I wonder if anyone will think it could be Ashley's baby Newman, and not Sharon Abbotts'. Of course the DNA couldn't be able to rule Victor out, because he is the grandfather, but it could rule out Ashley. EEEwwww, a storyline about Sharon and Victor hooking up.

And, yet another gripe. How, how, how in the world would all the fine docs at GCMH miss the fact that Ahley, infact, never gave birth when she came in from the other hospital. I've had a couple, and the parts aren't the same right away. And Ashley mist be nuts to not notice the lack of any bleeding in the days following.

I cannot remember exactly what went down BUT a GCMH nurse did come in the morning Ash was admitted and stated to Ash that she needed to be examined....something happened with all the Victor/Colleen situations going on and Ash said something along the lines "not right now".........soon after Dr. Taylor came in and he signed off that he had examined Ash.......so I think that was how GCMH got around the NO exam of Ash.

I wonder if Sharon will do anything about the fact when she called St. Mary's about her baby's remains....they stated there was NO Dr. Taylor working at that hospital. She is now busy with burying her baby....so who knows what will happen with that now.

that's possible too, because you know, all of the women on Y&R, with the exception of katherine (most of the time), are portrayed as weak, dependent and stupid. they've even taken the fight out of phyllis. i am particularly disappointed with the way they've changed ashley into a simpering twit. she used to be a tough businesswoman.

my take on this is that Ashley deep down knows that it is not her baby. She has always questioned her pregnancy. I think she deep down also knows it is Sharons baby and there for changed the name to Faith, but kinda unconsciously.....


She is in deep denial. When Nikki said that she could not get over how much Faith looked like Nick as a baby, the look in Sharon's face was like...I don't want to hear that....with a look of Wonder to it. I noticed that right away.

Hopefully this story line wont last till the child is 16 years old and needs a liver transplant or something for then to figure it out.

The service for colleen was nice. This is what my family knows to do for me. NO BLACK and lots of color and celebrate my life..... but hopefully that wont be for a very long time
