With all of these idiotic, dragged out storylines, are the actors who keep gushing about MAB and her awesome group telling the truth or just saying this to keep their jobs? I really don't understand all this. I don't hardly care anymore if I watch the show or not. Reading here is pretty much all I do. I used to plan how to be home to see the show-either at original time or on soapnet in the evening

i don't watch anymore either, i just keep up through the spoilers. i did catch about a minute of it today when tracy was crying over colleen, and i have to tell y'all, even though it was just for a minute, beth maitland's performance was heart-wrenching. Y&R is hardly emmy worthy these days, but her acting was.

Christel did an interview last night on BlogTalkRadio, she spoke about her current storyline, hating the scarves and looking forward to wearing wigs. The Winters not interacting with other cast members. Devon and Tyra having sex being nasty. The most shocking was when Christel revealed the real reason why she left Y&R a few years ago. Christel blamed Victoria Rowell (Dru) for her exit from the show, apparently Victoria used to give Christel a hard time and she couldn't take it anymore. Christel said it was not only her who encountered problems with Victoria, there was a lot of drama.

Does anyone watch BigBrother? Does anyone remember Marcellas, the openly gay guy from BB3? He’s the only extra that I see on y&r all the time!! (he must work for pennies!) Whenever the scene is in the GCAC, in the background there’s always a couple that is entering the club. Every other couple is Marcellas and a guest!!

well i have to say that when i had my daughter my family was in the room within the hour and i had already nursed dd had a shower and the bed was changed - you'd never have known that i had just given birth and within 4 hours we were heading home.

that said - i had 2 midwives in the room not 1 guy who doesn't know anything.

my labour was also pretty damm fast - 45 minutes after i arrived at the hospital dd was in my arms so fast labour is possible

As an L&D nurse, I can tell you, in most instances it would not happen this way.There are the few where things go quickly. Most, however, are not older women who have not birthed a child in over 15 years!!! And if Sharon's 7 1/2 month baby is born where there is no incubator, no oxygen, and she hasn't received steroids somewhere before now, it would definately be a problem of some sort. But, let's face it, this is a SOAP!!

L&D nurse here also. The first thing that came to mind when Dr. Taylor walked in as the nurse was to listen to heat tones....he says..."I'll take it from here Nurse"....my brain went...wait a minute he cant do that he does not have privileges at that hospital

Than the next thing they are letting him deliver a baby there

Has anyone noticed that this hospital that is suppose to be the greatest facility around and be upperscale looks no better than a motel 6
I mean look at the furniture in the rooms and the pictures....just what a million air/kazzilion air would want in a room....guess with the budget the way it is they had to buy furniture from the Salvation army.

Okay I will admit I watched today BUT my thumb was on the FF button most of the time. Stopped long enough to hear Tracy give the green light for Victor to get Colleen's heart.
Didn't bother with any of the baby birthing swapping nonsense NOR did I care about Jill's birthday.


I will say I started on Monday watching As The World Turns. Never ever have watched that soap at all and thought I would give it a chance. I like it so far.........

Okay, I "get" the whole hysterical pregnancy thing .....

but wouldn't Ashley notice that there is no change to her "va jay jay" after giving birth?????

She's a little crazy but she's not stupid.

However, I have to admit, after all the protesting I did, I didn't hate today's episode.
