Any old Young and the Restless fans from its early years around? Remember Lance and Lucas Prentiss who went after the sisters....Laurie and Leslie? Wel, was John O'Hurley Lance Prentiss on that? I just seem to recall him from somewhere in that soap opera. Anyone's memory better than Mine?

I remember him from Y&R. I think he was a Dr. he was Christine's dad and also Dr Scott Grangier's dad. You know Scott who was married to Lauren and had an affair with wacko nurse Sheila. Now little Scotty is out there waiting in the wings for his come back

I was watching at that point. Christine went to great lengths to find her father. Her mother had been married to John Abbott, but I think as her mother was dying (AIDS from a transfusion, I think) John stepped aside so she could remarry Jim. He is also Scott's father, so he is Lauren's ex-FIL.
He was married to Eva LaRue, not engaged. They divorced before she married the guy who was on All My Children with her (they are divorced now as well).

Yes, and Cricket (aka Christine) was actually ENGAGED to Scott until they learned they shared Jim (O'Hurley) as a Dad and were half siblings!
