Y.E.S. Tickets - Arrival / Departure date change?

Hi! I'm planning to purchase YES tickets but I have a quick question --

We are staying for more than 14 days. I realize our YES tickets must be used over 14 days. However, I'd like to get the jump on our FPs -

So, for example, if our YES program is on the 14th, I could put our arrival date as the 1st (since we will be there), but then not actually activate my tickets until the 7th.

Our 14 days of ticket use would still cover our YES program date, but we'd just use them later than originally stated.

Is this possible? Or is one of the downsides of YES that you're locked in to specific trip dates (not just specific YES program dates)?

We've done the Y.E.S. program for the past several summers. Sometimes our class was at the beginning of our trip, sometimes it was at the end. We had no problem using the tickets before our class date. The 14 day expiration begins once they are first used. Last year I was sent electronic tickets I was able to upload into MDE to make my FP's.

Hi & thanks for the reply. I guess I'm trying to figure out if we can change our date of first use later on, or if we have to have it set in stone ahead of time.
