Y & BC specials?

I was wondering if the Y & BC every ran specials like the other resorts do? What is the best price you have ever gotten there...

Standard view can be had for $179 for 11/3 - 12/19, standard view. They are usually available when AP discounts are announced also.

I haven't stayed at Y&B though I've wanted to. I seem to be stuck on a Poly / BW loop and can't get off,LOL.

This year, we got YC Concierge for $329/nt for Oct 20-30. Last year, we got a standard YC room for $179/nt in November.

I am wondering how I can justify paying that much (even the special prices!) to my husband. My DD and I go about 3 times a year with my parents or friends and stay at the AS. My DH comes once a year with us and we have stayed at POR- this Christmas we are trying AKL for the first time. He has never stayed at one of the AS only because he wakes up early and I like for him to have walking areas and somewhere to get coffee without waking us!! It is solely selfish purposes that I have never booked us at AS. We usually get POR for around $80 and I am paying $109 for AKL-

I fell in love withe the Y & BC, BW, and even the Swan and Dolphin when I took the boat from MGM to Epcot- how can I make a transition like this? I need excuses

Tell him you'll be within walking distance of Epcot and not have to wait for a bus to go there (he'll like that one), and that with Stormalong Bay at the Yacht & Beach Club, you probably won't have to bother paying to go to one of the waterparks, which could easily justify at least one of the nights...

DH and I are staying in a standard view room at the YC in November for $169 night. This is an AP rate. There was also a code rate available for $179.

This will be our first stay at the YC !
