I never even considered buying a Xyron until I read an earlier thread about your most prized item! I got the 510 over the weekend & absolutely LOVE IT I went back today & got the 150 X (to eliminate waste for smaller items!) If you don't have one get one!! Thanks to all those who gave its praises!

I too have the 150 and the 510 and don't know how I ever scrapped without either of them.

I LOVE my xyon little X! (I went out and bought the 500 as well). Got my 7yr old her own little X for christmas, she's going to be so happy. And better yet, they seem to be 50% off at michael's this week, get those refills now! maggie

the xyron's that I have are just sticker makers and are not messy at all. I LOVE them! (I think I already said that ) you just put what ever you want to make into a sticker into it and pull the stcker stuff and you have a sticker. The 500 has a handle you turn to make the sticker come through, not messy at all. maggie

I have certainly enjoyed my little xyron X. I hadn't seen a use for it until I started making serendipity squares but now that I have it I use it a lot. I guess if I had a larger one I would find other uses for it too.

Chessie, what are the serendipity squares you mentioned? I don't think I've ever heard of those before.

Inky, It took me a bit to find a link for making serendipity squares. I forgot where it was. They are so much fun to make. Since you have to make sure that each piece of paper you add is completely glued down the Xyron is perfect.

Thanks for taking the time to post the link, Chessie! The serendipity squares are just beautiful. Have you been doing them for awhile? I'm just now really getting interested in scrapbooking, but I've been a graphic designer for years. It's a wonder I didn't get started sooner. Anyway, there's just something about those squares that calls to me. Sooner or later I think that's something I'll give a try. The samples they showed are great inspiration. Thanks again for sharing.
