Xmas - when will MK reopen in PM when closed due to capacity?

This will be our first visit during Xmas week. I remember at Easter, MK was closed to capacity a few days. Since our visit overlapped onto another week, we just waited until then to do MK.

This time, we will only be there Xmas week so if we want to go to MK (which we must do with the kids) we will have to deal with the crowds. We were planning to take advantage of Early Entry, leave when the parks get really crowded, and then go back later in the day.

When would we most likely be able to get back in? I know we can find out from Guest Services that afternoon. I'm just thinking ahead a bit so I can perhaps plan PS at one of the MK restaurants.

If it fills to capacity, usually around 2-3 PM is when they start letting people in. And you still have 7-8 hours left.

If at all possible avoid MK on x-mas day itself. Alot of people are still under the assumption that they do a live feed of the parade.

It usually re-opens right after the parade. A lot of people come early, stay to see the parade, and then leave.
