Trying to get the better overall christmas experience...would you say Epcot (tree, lights around the world) or MGM (Osborne)?

In my opinion, they are different experiences. The Osborne lights are located in one spot, but they are spectacular. Epcot is totally decked out for the holidays everywhere. Not as flashy as MGM, (except for the lights of winter display), but overall Epcot is our favorite park for the holidays. We love the different countries and their traditional holiday displays. Hope that helps!

Both parks are a must see on my list but MGM is the better of the two, the lights are amazing

We liked Epcot better. The tree lighting is great with the Bridge of lights. Osborne is MAJOR light display that you get herded like cattle thru. Just IMHO!

Each country around the world has a different Santa type person, and those experiences, listening to their tales, tip the scale for me to Epcot. However, IMO there is not one thing at Epcot that's as spectacular as the Osborne lights.

PS. For adults, don't know if children can sit through and enjoy the Candlelight Processional at Epcot is just about as spectacular as the Osborne lights, but different, a musical experience.

I agree with Epcot. I think that Epcot is the most Christmassy of all the parks, with so much to see.

This is a hard choice for me. I love the fact that as you walk around Epcot decorations and lights are everywhere. I love the archway between WS and FW.

I love Osborne Family Lights at MGM, but that's all there is. I agree with one of the previous posters that said that you get hearded through the display like a bunch of cattle. There has got to be a secret to going through that I just haven't figured out yet. Plus with so many people I don't think that you get to see everything either. You are either on one side of the street or the other. You almost have to go through twice to get the full experience. Now, I guess that I should throw out there that it has been 4 years since I have gone to MGM to see OFL so maybe things have changed.

If I had my choice of the 2 I think that I would probably choose Epcot.
