Our family is going to Disney for 6 days the 2nd week of December. We are trying to come up with a fun way to celebrate on Christmas day without presents, since we are spending alot to go on vacation. There are 7 of us, all adults. Some don't want to do presents at all, some still want to buy but set a limit and some want to pick names and just buy one gift. I was hoping for some kind of unique game with maybe small gifts? I was thinking of each buying something small while at disney and we could exchange that but if it could be in a game format that would be nice. Don't really like the swap thing with numbers. Any ideas ??? Thanks ! :confused3

How about doing white elephant gifts and maybe set the limit around $5 total spent?

I think it would be fun for everyone to pick up a Disney trinket while you're there to exchange on Christmas. If anyone is taking a video camera or Flip, you could watch the video on Christmas to remind you of all the fun things you did. Have everyone print and bring their photos to share, too!

Another idea for gift exchanging is to sit in a circle with everyone holding one unopened gift. There's a story floating around about Mr. & Mrs. Right and every time the word "right" is read, the gifts pass to the right. Every time the word "left" is read, the gifts pass to the left. It's pretty fun and different from the "dirty Santa" gift exchange.

You can google "christmas exchange games left right" and a bunch of poems and stories come up. Or you can write your own -- maybe with a Disney theme?? That would be fun...

Mr. & Mrs. Right went to Disney World, but they left their camera at home. Mr. Right had to turn right around to go get it. They thought they had the right directions, but turned left instead of right and got lost! Finally, they found the right road to get them to their destination. ETC ... It would be cute!

Have a great trip!

I LOVE IT! The left right thing would be great! I also like the white elephant.. that could be the gifts they are holding!

I knew if I posted here I could come up with some good ideas!
thanks! :santa:

What about agreeing to all take photos at Disney and doing an exchange of either physical photos or the digital images on Christmas day.

Each person could also bring one frame if you wanted to have a physical gift to exchange.
