You are going to have a wonderful time. Just take it all in and enjoy the holiday atmosphere. So glad you got a Kona ADR!
You can enjoy the resort decorations the first day. I would suggest parking in the MK parking lot and then just riding the monorail or if the weather is good jump on a boat launch between resorts. The MK resorts have been clamping down on parking unless you are staying there or have an ADR so that option is out.
For that week we always just pick our top 3-5 attractions for each park try to get them done and then everything else is the cherry on the sundae.
A couple suggestions if you don't want to go in the park.
* Go over to FW. The campers go all out decorating their sites and RVs. I would suggest the hayride one evening and if you can get in a dinner at Trails End.
* Splitsville or a movie at Disney Springs.
* Gingerbread at the GF. The band and pianist play xmas music each evening. IT is nice just to sit in the lobby and take it all in. Maybe get a family photo in front of the Gingerbread house or xmas tree.
By the time you arrive at the resorts the QS breakfasts should not be that bad. Check out Gasparillas at GF or Capt Cooks at the Poly.
The important thing is be flexible, relax and just enjoy a holiday with your family.
