Wondering if we should book the week before Xmas or the week after Xmas thru New Years Day for next year. When will crowds be less? (if such a thing:confused3 ) Also, how many units does the BCV have...looking for a two bedroom with two queen beds...or may I be better off with booking two studios? Trying to figure this all out in case we have some additional family members decide to join us. BTW, this will be our first visit home :cloud9: TIA!!!

Definitely decide on week & unit(s) you want and call first thing on day that 11 month window opens. If you think other family/friends may want to come you may want to count them in at the get-go even if they are not 100% sure probably best done by booking 2 studios, and then at least you'd be able to cancel one if it turns out they will not join you.

It's a very busy time for both weeks, but week before Christmas should be slightly less crowded since many are drawn to NYE events at WDW. Also, from December 24 - Dec 31 there is quite an increase in number of points required so that may influence the week you'd want to pick as well.

Sounds like it'll be a memorable first trip home, have fun !! :goodvibes

:santa:

The week between Christmas and New Years is the busiest week of the year. Parks often close at least once a day during that week, sometimes more frequently. It's really a terrible time for a first time visitor if any in your group have never been before.

There are only 25 dedicated two bedroom villas at BCV that have the two queen beds in the second bedroom.
