my DM passed away unexpectedly this summer. Ddad & DM have a membership at BWV. Ddad has asked me to set up a big vacation in between xmas and new years 08. we would need 2 3 bedrooms or 3 2 bedrooms. is there a limit on the number of rooms you can reserve? he wants to do BWV and I have tried to project the number of points needed & I think he would be a little short but could borrow from the next year. we could reserve at 11 months day by day. it would be cheaper to do OKW but Ddad & DM loved BWV and that is where he wants to stay. there would be 19 of us. I hope there is a way I can get this done. we are currently in the process of adding me as associate member to Dad's contract. my sibs seem fine with adding me. Dad has talked about selling the membership but we convinced him to give a little more time. I know I am rambling--thanks

I am sorry for your lose, and don't apoligize about rambling. I thing it's good for your dad not to rush in to sell. Though he may think he doesn't need it he will always have those cherished memories. So, in time if he decides that's what he wants fine, but sometimes people make decisions to soon after the death of a loved one. I don't know the make up of your family but could you try for a grand villa? then maybe a 1bd or 2bd if needed. Families can be close but that doesn't mean they can share w/ the villa. Which is fine and some times it works better splitting it studio, 1bd etc. I love OKW, but I would borrow from the next use year and have Dad enjoy his family gathering where he feels 'at home'. Be prepared for a happy gathering and some sad moments, especially for your dad. After my dad passed our first trip back we always did w/ mom and dad was hard for all of us, especially for mom.
