XBOX 360 Problems?

Anyone having the disk scratching problem? We now have two games all scratched up...

And we have not moved the console so that is not the issue.

Mine has been running like a pro, and I got it on release date. Sounds like some bad luck. I would suggest you call Microsoft C.S. and have them help you resolve the issue. Also check out xbox.com there are other there that have had the same issue.

We've had the 360 since the day it came out and we haven't had any problems with it. Actually, the only problem I do have is that I've become addicted to Zuma!

We did call and they were wonderful, we have to send ours in for repair and they will ship out a new one.

Poor Dh though, he is scared that this problem will happen again.

Glad to know Microsoft is standing behind their product.
We also got ours on release day and were scared we would have problems but so far it has worked just fine.

My husband said that he knows of people that have had this problem and they have their 360 in the standing position (vertically). We have ours laying horizontally. Maybe the way you stand/lay your 360 would help?

DH is on his 4th Xbox - the first one overheated and I can't remember all the other issues with the others. I know his the games kept freezing and telling him he had a disk error. Do a google search, you will find info.....lots of people are having problems.

Microsoft has been replacing them with no problem. They send you a box, you send yours in and get a brandy-new one in a few days. I think they still have some major kinks to work out.

We had it straight up for about 3 minutes..Then I compained about the disk noise and it was been flat and high up since then.

We should be getting our box early next week, to replace the thing.

I had heard that one guy had go through 6 xbox's.

No problems here with ours...except that I can't get DS7 away from it!

I live out here in Microsoft land. So far ourselves and our friends have all been lucky no problems with the 360's that we have. I do know that if you dont give the power supply enough room to vent heat it can overheat and cause problems. Just thought I would pass that along.
