Here he is at the airport:

Here he is at the hotel, getting ready for the Magic Kingdom. (Notice his Mickey ears!) He loves the new H2O toiletries!

If that hasn't scared everyone away, I'll be posting more later!:lmao:

Woo hoo! An update!! Thanks! I'm really enjoying your trip report!
I think you were very patient to just sit on her foot! Youch...being pinched by a shoe isn't fun!

Thanks for being my loyal reader! :yay:

Next stop: Spain for Dave. I think he had the Taste of Spain: Olives, Almonds & Chorizo ($3.25). (Sound right Dave?!):confused3
Yep, that's right.

I think Dave had the Caprese Salad and I think he liked it. (I may be thinking of my imaginary friend though so I’m not sure!)
Yes, that was me.

It seems like Dave may have had something else around here too but I don’t recall…so on to FRANCE! In France Dave had the Quiche au Fromage de Chèvre - Goat Cheese and Sun-dried Tomato Quiche ($3.75). He raved about this one!
I thought about having the Spaetzle in Germany, but decided not to. Also, I believe I skipped France that day too, except for the Grand Marnier slush. I had the Quiche (and another Grand Marnier slush) when we returned later in the week. :)

Oh yummm! That quiche sounds FANTASTIC!! I'm sorry the cheese soup wasn't good. That would have been a must try for me so I would have been very disappointed!
I really enjoyed your update!
Can't wait to hear about your party and I have my fingers crossed that it didn't rain this time!!

Glad to hear you enjoyed the party. Next time I'm going to have to remember to bring some of my own glow sticks. They always charge crazy amounts for those things.

Woo hoo! Glad to hear the party was so much fun! I'm happy for you that it didn't rain until the end. You didn't say....did you get LOTS of candy??

You didn't say....did you get LOTS of candy??
I suppose that depends on what you consider LOTS. I personally feel that I got ENOUGH candy for me. Especially since there were huge bins of Hersey's kissables at the exits where you could pretty much grab handfuls of the stuff. :woohoo:

I really enjoyed the trick or treating. We did many fun Disney things on our trip, but I'd have to say the trick or treating is the thing that most made me feel like a kid again. I made a point to actually say "trick or treat" to the cast members handing out the candy, instead of just walking by with my bag open as most people did. It added to the fun for me, and I think most of the cast members appreciated it as well. :goodvibes

I'd like to share something funny I overheard at the beginning of the Boo to You Parade. There was a woman with a young boy behind and slightly to the right of me. I'm guessing the boy was around 5 or 6, but I admit I'm not good at judging kids ages. The headless horseman had just ridden by, and the woman was explaining to the boy that the headless horseman was riding around searching for his head. The boy replied, "but if he finds his head he won't be the headless horseman". :lmao:

Next we strolled over to Expedition Everest. I can’t remember when we got our fast passes – before we ate or before Dinosaur. It wasn’t a really long wait at all. (Not like the safari.) We zoomed through the queue area – which is almost a shame. It looks like the standby line has some great theme-ing that would really get you in the mood for the ride. We loaded into the ride vehicle and off we went. Dave isn’t as roller coaster experienced as I am so I was a little worried about him. I’ve gone on backwards coasters before but this was his first. I should’ve been more concerned about his fear of the Yeti! We both did so much trip research so I just assumed that he knew about the Yeti. Apparently he didn’t. So imagine my surprise when the Yeti appeared and my manly-man let out a yelp…no, a squeal…ok, it was a scream! A 10-year old girly scream. :rotfl: (Sorry Dave, you did! Just own it and be proud that you aren’t too jaded or macho to let loose a spontaneous shriek when shrieking is called for!

Hey, I'm secure enough in my manhood to admit I screamed on Expedition Everest. Janet told me I was going to, but I think she thought it would be at a different point in the ride. (I generally don't care for big, steep drops on rides.) And yes, I knew about the Yeti. I just didn't know when he would appear, not having ridden the ride before. It was quite startling, and very realistic! The backwards part was no problem at all for me. I enjoyed the ride too, and will definitely ride it again on my next visit to the world.

I've been gone for a week and couldn't wait to see if you'd written an update! I was happy to see you had!!!
LOL I see that everyone that writes about AK says it is so #*@# hot. What a bummer. Wonder if those trees are the reason. Even though they provide shade, maybe they also block the breezes??
Thanks for the update with all the great pictures! I'm glad you got a good amount of candy! Man kisses for the taking on the way out...I would have been in heaven!! I would have had to take at least 10!!
