X-Files fans : Is there one episode that totally freaked you out?

I know there are many episodes that were downright gross or just too weird to comprehend, but there has to be one (or two) that make you want to hide in the closet.

I can't remember the main storyline of this episode but the scene that freaked me out was when this guy who worked at the bowling alley had to fix the pin set-up machine and when he looked up he saw a ghost of a girl just sitting there mouthing the words, "help me, help me". Man, that made me want to hide!

I have the one! The one where this family lived out in the country somewhere, and the two grown sons were a product of inbreeding. The family was inbred for generations (and they were deformed), and the mother was kept under the bed! It totally freaked me out.

I LOVE that show! The episode SilverLily described is definitely the creepiest to me. I think it was called Home. I also saw the one in the bowling alley and I thought the part where Scully is in the bathroom and sees the ghost of the college girl was also creepy.

Well I don't watch Xfiles but my husband is a huge fan. He doesn't have any that really freaked him out, but the Home episode he said is freaky. He did say there were a few that grossed him out, like the human cancer man Leonard Betz.

Oh yeah, Home has to be the creepiest! Do you remember that Leonard Betts is Dr. Romano from ER?

One episode I really like is the one in which Mulder and the lady from the cult found out they were reincarnated lovers from the Civil War era. I think it was called "I Died On This Field" Totally cool!
