His was the first of 3 horrid acts. Grandma singing, "I Touch Myself" was way beyond disturbing. The two senior entertainers made me hit "mute" when the lady started in. Glad they shut off the screamer chick duo.

I was enjoying it until they started to show all the crazies. I was hoping there would be more focus on the good ones.

Loved that first girl..what a personality! I also loved Simon's face. Nice to see him back.

As for the Prince wannabe...they have to let a weird one through now and then so someone can get booted off right away.

I didn't think he was worth sending thru. Is this based on singing alone or do they add in stage performance too?

Yeah, my patience is just about gone. I would much rather see talent. That's why I liked the Voice, it was actually about the talent.
And the close up body scanning with the camera of the tight red shorts and legs? Not sure when got so crabby, but its not working for me.

And the "I'm a Stud"guy just sealed it. It was not funny and he should have been pulled off the stage immediately and they let him keep going.

We watched the live audtions in NJ, and we had a blast. There are some great singers from the performance we saw!

The 42 year old mom of two made me cry. I am so happy for her!

The last kid, Chris Renee was really good--very talented.

that was so disgusting. I can't believe they let that go on. they should have pulled him immediately.
they all acted so disgusted, but they let it go on.
L.A. and Simon both, Paula left to throw up and poor Nicole, I just dont think she knew what to do.

It IS odd that he had a resemblance to Randy, with the bald head and trendy glasses. I'm going to refer to him as "NOT Randy", because I don't know his name. I think he's a good match for Simon, and we will probably watch the show for a while. We stopped with AI last year.

That's some smart advertising there. Especially the clips of Michael Jackson's old commercials. It was neat to watch those with the kids.

That's LA Reid. A grammy award winning Record Producer, executive and all round BIG WIG in the music industry. Resembling Randy is just a coincidence cause Randy can't light a candle to LA Reid's experience and resume.

From what I understand about the show, its that these kids will work with mentors. They are looking for potential and the people that make the cut go to a "boot camp" and , I think, are split into categories.

I figure there are similarities and there are differences. But this show is HUGE in UK. Im interested to see how it pans out here because , frankly, Im over American Idol.

I turned it on last night in the middle of the Nicole Birthday overkill. UGH. Changed the channel right after the ANSER sang to her and then did their thing.
