Wyndham Orlando Resort

My family and I are going to be staying there the week after Christmas and I was wondering how the location was as far as walking to restraunts...can anybody fill me in on what's close?

There are several restaurants nearby -- there is an Olive Garden, Perkins, Darryl's, and several others. There are also many fast-food type places too -- McDonald's, Popeye's Chicken. The resort itself is very spread out. If you don't have access to a car, you might want to request a building near I-Drive as opposed to the back of the resort.

Sand Lake McDonald's, Burger King, etc, are all practically across the street..there is a Golden Corral behind the WalGreens as well

The quiet pool area is near the I-Drive end as well

We were upgraded to a suite - separate bunk-bed area with TV for the kids, king size bed and refrigerator

Thanks for the responses. We will have a car (driving from VA the day after Christmas...I'm sure interesting will not begin to describe the car ride!) so getting around won't be a problem. But I figured as crazy as that area can be, the more things we can walk to the better. Awesome about the Golden Corral---gotta love buffets!
