NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

Just curious, was it just a deposit, or was the trip paid in full? I've never had it trigger based on just a deposit. Most of the wording on the offers seem to say the entire stay must be paid in order to qualify. Found this out the hard way once when I booked a separate one night stay instead of modifying an existing one to add a day. Sure enough, the one night stay immediately triggered the offer since the stay was completely paid, while the other longer one I intended to use the offer on did not.

Here is my existing dilemma given the feedback on the Swan not necessarily triggering Westin offer but seemingly triggering Autograph ones:

Card A: Autograph 10% $62 max as well as Marriott Hotels 10% $80 max
Card B: Marriott Hotels 10% $80 max
Card C: Westin 10% $62 max

1. Can I split payment across multiple cards and would each credit (assuming they trigger successfully)? Has anyone ever split the payment and gotten credits across two cards? Or is it possible neither would trigger since the payment wasn't done completely on one?

2. Do we think the Marriott offer applies to Swan? The wording from the offer "Earn 10% cash back on your Marriott Hotels stay". The link does not take me to the usual marriott.com website but to another specific Marriott resorts home page and I don't see Swan as an option in the Locations tab so I'm thinking not but wonder what people think or have had any experience.

3. If we don't think Marriott applies, and I can split payment to get two credits, I'll put some on Card A and the remainder on Card B.

4. If I can't split, would people agree that I have better odds with the Autograph offer on Card A than the Westin offer on Card C?

I know I actually got an unexpected credit for a stay at Swan when I had an Autograph offer and no Westin offer. Do we think Autograph is still being triggered by Swan and not Westin?

Thanks for any advice or help.
Just wanted to follow up. I called and had the deposit for my Swan reservation on my original non-offer card reversed and booked the entire amount on the card that had the Autograph offer. The charge went through with an 8/12 transaction date and 8/14 posted date. Offer expired on 8/15. Got an email on 8/17 saying the offer was redeemed 8/16. I'll confirm when actually posted, but looks like Swan is still triggering Autograph Chase offers.

FWIW, it looks like Chase decided to wait until the offer was expired before crediting me my Dollar General offers, but I used it less than a week before it expired, so I suppose it could have just been delayed.

Contrast this with my recent Dell purchase. I ordered a computer from Dell on 8/13 around 4:15 PM Eastern. Expected delivery was Saturday. I received the computer on 8/14 around 1PM. The charge and $100 offer credit both posted on 8/14. So 🤷‍♂️

Haven't had one of the Target "Buy $ and get $" in ages.
Annoying. Spend a fortune there.

Me too, and the only thing I can figure out is I joined :confused3the circle 360 because they had a free offer for me

So my husband has an offer this time and I don’t. And we both have the 360 thing.

What I tend to do is jump back and forth between which account we order from. Get more offers when you use it less it seems.

I’m got that offer too and didn’t accept because I want only the other offers that I got fairly often. Now it seems they disappeared.

Hope we both will see them coming back to us.

I was looking at my Chase offers and two of my cards (Disney and SW) have a 10% off at CVS, up to $5. Expires on 9/14.

Great timing since I need one more $50 gift card to purchase my Christmas party tickets!
I have this offer on my Amazon chase card. Silly question, I just have not used this offer before. Doo you have to go in store to do this with a gift card, or does doing it online work?

I've only gone to the store to use this offer to purchase a gift card. I don't know if it works for online gift card purchases, I don't want to take the chance.

Never had an issue with CVS offers on my Chase card, but only 2 of the 6 CVS offers triggered on my Capital One cards. The others failed to trigger the offer.

Have you hit the expiration date of the offer yet? The other reason I posted above is that I think the chase offers I used didn’t trigger until the expiration date, not when used. It seems inconsistent.

We are 2 months out from our next trip. I've been watching this thread for a couple of months and haven't seen much in the way of gift card deals. Outside of Sam's Club and the Target Red Card 5%, can y'all think of any deals I'm missing? I also have a Capital One card. I'm hoping to "bite the bullet" and buy an annual pass. Also, we don't have big chain grocery stores or Meijer here in the St. Louis area.

Not a "gift card deal" per se, but some are reporting 10% (up to $5) offers for CVS on Chase branded cards. I have it on my Chase United Card. I am planning to get a $50 Disney card at CVS with this offer. So if you have any Chase cc, check your offers.

Has anyone tried purchasing a $500 egc from shop Disney? I usually only do $25 denominations but trying to hit a SYW bonus so went big. Usually arrive within a couple hours but ordered last night and no delivery. Email says estimated delivery is Sat, but also that egc can take up to 24 hours to arrive.

Literally half hour after posting it arrived
