Wyndham Bonnet Creek, where to get the best rates?

Oops...realized you want the hotel. I would not even consider that. If I am staying offsite, it is going to be in a condo with a kitchen. The grills are great to use around the property and not sure I could manage that in a studio hotel room.
I want the room where I can get the best deal, really. Right now for a party of four, (mock reservation) in July, UTourist has the lowest price. It is at the hotel, and even with the added fees, it is still cheaper. And I must have a good cancellation policy. Very forgiving one, and UT looks great.

Figured out you can use the coupons with Orbitz on the time share side of the resort, but not on the hotel side of the resort.

On the timeshare side, it’s pretty likely you could find a rental at a better price than the Orbitz promo.

True, but I have to have a nice cancellation policy. I will pay a little more for that.

Not sure of your dates, but there are always deals to be had. You have to look for timeshare rentals hard to find the best deals. I have seen 1BR deals for July at $600 for the week, 2BR early August for $700 for the week. I have also seen people renting them for $4,000. That is why you have to do your homework. I am not saying the $700 are scams, you just have to search for those deals and look all over.

I can fully understand the cancellation part. Look into places like trip bound. They have cancellation policy for the timeshare side. While I have yet to fully go through a vacation with them I have worked with them and they are wonderful (military issues got in our way and we had to cancel) If I don't use a private owner I would use someone who deals with the timeshares for good deals.

I actually did my "mock" reservation with the July dates on Orbitz and Cheap Tickets yesterday and got an awesome price on a one-bedroom with the discount code applied. So what I have learned is to do my homework, and check every site for the best prices and cancellation policies for not only the hotel side, but the time share side as well. The one thing the hotel side has in its favor is the location, knowing where we would be located before we got there.

Yes, you would be at the back of the resort next between the 2 slide pools. That's about it. There are no bad buildings there, so that would be a nonissue for me.
