Well just got back late last night from a five night stay at WBC. I thought I'd share my thoughts on the resort.
We had stayed at WBC before in '10 but thru DMs time share points. This time we rented thru farrellsvacations. I was a little nervous about using him/her but it was a great experience. They answered all our questions and sent emails and all the info we needed. I would recommend them to others.
We arrived at WBC on 6/2 around 1:30 or so. The check in area was very busy, had to drive around to find one parking spot and cars were just parked wherever. Check in was quick, there was a room ready in Tower one so we took it. The only negative would be the car pass lady. Part of that is trying to set you up for a time share thing. She wouldn't just take no for an answer and I had to finally just get rude with her(not something I like to do) so we could get our pass and go on our way.
We had been on a cruise the week before arrival. 2 adults and one 17 year old son in a teeny tiny cruise room, so the two bedroom suite was perfect. We actually gave DS the master suite and DH and I took the second bedroom with two queens (or maybe full) so we could spread out. First impression of the room when we walked in was it looked nice and was clean. There were small containers of soap, shampoo, ect, in the bathrooms. Not enough for a week but enough to get you thru a shower or two until you can get to a store. In the kitchen there was also small containers of salt/pepper, sweetener, coffee, popcorn, detergent (dish and laundry) a few other things along that line. Once again, enough to get you started but not enough for a trip.
After really looking at the room though, I felt it needed a refurb. The carpet was stained in high traffic areas. The living room furniture was a hodge podge. Looked (and felt) like the sleeper sofa was kind of new and all the furniture was in good shape, but none of it went together. The sofa was cloth light green, one chair was kind of a yellowy tan leather or more likey vinyl, and the other chair was blue cloth but different cloth than the sofa. The two lamps were different too. It just looked like they had took the best pieces they had and put in the room. Also the chair in the second bedroom had a good sized stain on it. After reading this big thing I wrote about the decor you probably think I didn't like the room, but I did. I was there two or three days before I noticed all this stuff. Some people may be put off by it though.
I liked having a washer/dryer so we didn't come home with so many dirty clothes but both were very loud. Also our TV service was glitchy. Seemed to be the provider not the TVs.
We had a very large balcony. WE had four chairs and a small table. It was good to sit out and listen to the rain.
We drove so we didnt' use the bus service, but the sign at check in said $5 per person for shuttle. Other than at the check in area we had no problems finding parking. Elevators were super quick. We heard little, the only exception being the last night 6/6, our neighbors were being super noisy. But that happens.
I probably woudn't want Tower 1 again. We're not big pool people, we don't make it a priority, but if there's one convenient we'll go. Tower 1 had no pool or lazy river, you had to walk to the main building for that. We didn't bother to do it, but had there been a pool right there we probably would've went down at least once.
Overall we loved the resort, we are thinking about doing it again in October.
Here's a quick list of the pros and cons or the good and bad or however you want to look at it.
The good: Great room right in the middle of WDW property for less than what we would've spent at a value resort (rack rate). Loved having washer and dryer and microwave. The extra room over a regular hotel room is great.
The bad: Pushy Car Pass lady. The room though clean was ready for a refurb. Loud appliances.

However, if you do use this method its also a good idea to unplug your phone. I received several voice mails asking me to come and complete my full check-in process
Because even I was not married my money would be just as good.
