Good info here,

Heads up folks, if your dates are firm and you want a 2 br unit at the Summerfield Suites with full kitchen, plus breakfast for $75 in a good location, this is it!

You do have to pay upfront tho and no refunds.

Herc.

This is indeed a great deal! I put in my week, New Year's Eve week in fact, and the rate for a 2 bedroom 2 bath was as low as $89.50! Wow!

I cannot take a chance on the no refund policy, though. I hope someone can take advantage of this deal.

I want to check rates for Philadelphia but I can't find my WBR card!! I'm going to have to call them to get it.

Thanks for posting! Sounds like there are great deals to be had!

Where is my stupid card?? :)

Just booked wyndham DTD for $50.00 per night through this promotion.

I plugged in my dates (Jan. 17-25) and it isn't valid. Shucks! I was thinking this was the answer since no codes for Disney resorts are out yet.

Oh, well.

Thanks for sharing that information with everyone Robin. That's what makes these boards and it's member so great. :)

What kind of rates did people get for these rooms? And what are the rooms like? Is it like a deluxe resort?? Thanks for the info! How far of a walk is it to Pleasure Island?

I got Summerfield Suites by Wyndham (I-Drive)for $74.50 a night. My dates are 8/23/03-8/31/03. This is is for a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom suite (sleeps 8), with a fully equipped kitchen. It evens includes a continental breakfast each day!! There is also a Summerfield Suites LBV with the same deal.

I just did two reservations for Summerfield Suites LBV - one for $89.50/night starting March 8 (spring break) and one for $74.50/night starting May 24 (memorial day). Both were for a two bedroom suite , 1 king & 2 doubles. Every other place on the web that I tried showed these and other similar properties at almost double the rates that Wyndham is asking.

For those same dates, the I-drive location had rates of $79.50 (Q/Q) or $89.50 (Q/2D) in March, and $69.50 (Q/Q) and $74.50 (Q/2D) for the May dates.

MS Streets shows that the driving distance from the Suites to the entrance to downtown Disney to be .75 miles. We decided that the extra $10/night for the March trip was worth it for the closer proximity to Disney, and for the larger bed.

One last note - for the march dates the Wyndham palace was over $100 a night, just for a regular room. This is much less expensive, and you have two bedrooms !! and bathrooms !! instead of one, plus a kitchen. I love it when a plan comes together  .

Just helped my friend book a week march 1 to March 8 2 bedroom 74.50......YIPPEE......

"Yippie" is right! I'm thrilled that people are able to save $$ because of something I posted :D! I can't believe some of those prices ... $74 for a 2 bedrooms. Wow.

Okay okay I bit!!

I couldn't pass this one up. It was KILLING ME!

I already had the BOGO for the HIFS for New Years Eve and New Years Day and wanted to books someplace nice and spacious for the rest of the week. I was about to rent a condo from someone on the TUG board when I checked the rates on the Summerfield Suites.

:earseek: $59.50 a NIGHT????? :earseek:

When I checked earlier in the week I was including my holiday dates and the rate was $89.50 a night!

Well, I booked it!

January 2 to January 5th, my son's birthday BTW, for a grand total of $178 for a suite with the mandatory TWO TVs and free continental breakfast. I could NOT let that one go!

So, Robin, my namesake, I thank you!

Robin, Robin, Robin. I hate you (j/k)! It looks like we'll be neighbors :).

I was sitting fat and happy on my All Star Sports reservation ($49 AP rate) from 1/3/03 - 1/6/03, thinking that there was no way that I would book outside WDW. Then you posted that you got a 1 bedroom suite for only $13 more. I was a little nervous about going from the Polynesian (a deluxe) to the Beach Club Villas (a 1 bedroom) and then to the tiny All Stars. Don't get me wrong, I love the All Stars but I got to thinking about all the things I would have to leave behind at the Beach Club because of a lack of refrigerator and how much we were going to miss all the room.

So, I though about it and came up with the following lists:

Summerfield Suites Advantages
  1. 2 Room Suite, I can put my DD to sleep and hang out in the living room.
  2. Full Kitchen, I can bring my stuff from BCV.
  3. King size bed and fold out couch.
  4. Free Highspeed internet access (WBR perk).
  5. Free local and long distance calls (WBR perk).
  6. Free breakfast that can be taken back to the room.
  7. 2 TVs, I don't have to watch cartoons.
  8. Hot tub in pool area.
  9. Coffee maker, can you say "Starbucks"?
All Star Sports Advantages
    1. Great bus service.
    2. Tasty food court with refillable mugs (that we already own :eek).
    3. Luggage fairies to move our stuff from BCV to ASSp.
    4. 24/7 "Disney Magic".
    5. Umm ...
Since we're spending the previous 10 days on-site, I figured that I could spend the last 3 off-site in comfort :). We have APs, so parking is still free to us. Anyway ... the deed is done (45 minutes after the deadline, BTW) and they have my $$.

Kewl!!!

LOL! What a deal, huh???

I've been sooooooo trying to over figure out everything and this was the best deal of all of them.

I wanted to stay onsite at Universal but they were WAY too over priced and my AP expires on 1/2/03 on the dot!! With everything I have to deal with now the re up just had to wait!

This way I'm much closer to USF and I can go to SeaWorld (which my APs still have another year on them) the other two days!

Well, looks like the Summerfield Suites will be RobinVille for the first week of 2003! How KEWL is that???

Robinrs, are you staying at the Summerfield Suites I-drive? If you are, can you post a trip report when you get back? I'm looking forward to hearing more about the Summerfield Suites!! :D
