My DH and I are Deluxe AP holders, and they expire June 4 of this year.

DH agreed to take one last trip before they expire, since we won't be renewing anytime soon...hopefully 2011...

Anyways, we're thinking May 21-23...we're blocked out that Sat the 22th...would you pay $40 per person for that day knowing you won't be back for a while??

Keep this in mind: That Friday, we won't get into Anaheim until 8pm that night, and Sunday we would leave about 4-4:30...knowing that would you purchase Saturday?? Also are they PH tickets?

They are PHs and they are $45 (not $40) now. Would I do it? Depends on how good of a room rate I could get and how badly I needed a Disney fix. ;)

We're staying at Motel 6 for like 60 bucks a night so that's reallly good! I'm just wondering what the heck we would be doing on Saturday anyways...DH hates the beach so that ideas gone, if we went to the Spectrum or South Coast Plaza I KNOW I'll be spending more than 90 bucks there! I'm a chick, it's bound to happen! :lmao:

Still unsure of what I should do...

So you are going to spend $120 for a hotel so that you can use your AP's to go to DL for a couple of hours on Friday and 6 or 7 hours on Sunday? If you don't go on Saturday why bother going at all! ;)

I'm going down with my DH to compete in Mouse Adventures on Sunday May 23rd.

I'm also blocked on Saturday, but decided to pay to get in on Saturday, cuz there is so much going on. :goodvibes

Food and Wine Festival at DCA will be happening which is fun. Robert Irvine of the "Dinner Impossible" Foodnetwork show will be there for the celebrity demo.

But the clincher of the day, is that the World of Color, will probably be showing in soft openings!! :yay:

BTW- Every Saturday morning, the Spectrum has a HUGE car gathering. That is my DH's favorite thing to see, whenever we are down. If your DH is interested in this kind of stuff, it is definitely worth it to go. All the most expensive cars down in that area show up for it.

Also, I don't know if you remember me writing this, but I think you and your DH went to school with my kids. Small world.

Excellent point!!! I hope when I bring up this fantastic point to my DH, he won't say, "Then we shouldn't go at all!"....men...:rotfl:

And yes I do want to partake in the F&W stuff!!! And Omgoodness! do you think there may be a soft opening of WoC???? That would be SWWWEEET!

Haha! Actually I'd be the one more interested in cars than DH :rotfl2: But that's really cool that this happens! Hmm, perhaps I could bring up to DH what's going on over at the Spectrum and have him decide what he wants to do...Disneyland it shall be! :lmao:

And YES! I do remember! I think your kids may be older than us though! :wave2:

Ok, what's the Spectrum and where is it?

Also, how do you know about WOC soft openings? I'll be there Memorial Day weekend, how do I find this info out??

We did, our first APs were Deluxe, they expired in July 08, we knew we wouldn't get there in July before they expired so we went in June. We bought black out passes for that day, but they were cheaper then, I want to say $30 each...but yes, if I was going for that time frame I would buy blackout passes, and yes, you can hop with them. :) You just use the blackout pass as your ticket, that's what they scan to let you in and that's what you use to get fastpasses.

The Irvine Spectrum is a really big, cool outside mall! It's dangerous but fun! :lmao:

Thank you! For some reason I feel better about making that decision knowing that someone else has done it! I really don't have any idea when we'll be able to come back, even though I'm only 3 hours away, but want to make sure to make the most of it! So thanks again!:worship:
