what would you rather do with two young girls (2 and 4).. CRT for breakfast and be in the park early one morning or as your last nights dinner?

For us and our 2 girls, I'd opt for the breakfast. Dinner on the last night is the perfect time for a breakdown from being tired. I've only done CRT once for lunch, but remember having a decent wait to get in and to get food and see the princesses.

Early Breakfast. We did when my kids were the same age (2 and 4) and dressed as the prince and Cinderella. The park was basically empty. We were able to get some amazing pictures in front of the castle without a crowd of strangers in them.

It depends on your kids. I liked breakfast for the cheaper price and starting out our day early, we did this twice. Then last time we decided to go late and the only reservation was for 9:30 dinner. We took it and gave the girls a nap a little bit later than normal (like 3-5). Well it was great my then 2 year old hates the loud booms of the fireworks. At 10:00 we got a new and great view of the fireworks from the castle during dinner. My 2 year old didn't have her normal freak out and my then 4 year old thought it was so cool. The restaurant dims the lights and they pump in the audio of the music etc. VERY COOL and will be doing it again this year!

We've only ever done lunch.

Once we did BBB pre rope drop, rode some rides and then had lunch. Then back to resort for rest time.

Next time was BBB around 12 with lunch around 1:20.

We've never had long waits. We enjoyed it. DD loved it.

I can't see myself paying that price for breakfast. At least give me a substantial meal.

Are your kids morning people or night owls and are you dealing with any time change? My DD(7) has never been a morning person. We tried a pre-park breakfast once when she was little and it did not go well- and we only had a 1 hour time change. We discovered that getting her to the park before rope drop leads to a tired cranky kid. For her, from those options we would choose dinner, but when she was small, not too late of a dinner. If your kids are early risers a pre-park breakfast would be great.

As for dinner, ff your kids are early risers and not night owls, they might enjoy breakfast more. They may be too worn out at night to enjoy the dinner. If they are night owls like DD, I would say dinner, but be careful about booking too late of a time. We never took afternoon breaks, DD would just nap in her stroller as needed, and sometimes when she was little if we booked a table service dinner that didn't start til 6:30 or 7, she would be really tired and restless at dinner. She was fine if we ate CS in the evenings and kept going until park close- but a sit down dinner would let that Disney adreneline shut down and she would feel the tiredness. So...we usually did lunch at CRT! If we did dinner, we tried to make the ADR sometime between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m.

If your kids will be up, definitely breakfast. We did this, mostly because the menu appealed to all, and had a fabulous time. Super, duper yummy...and my boys are breakfast fans, so I was happy to see them eat more than the chicken nuggets they would have ordered at lunch or dinner.
