WWYD - what to buy at Penneys?

I always find good shirts at JC Penney. I'm pretty cheap when I buy clothes, but the Penney's stuff (bought on clearance) holds up better than a similar shirt from a discount store.

I get coupons like that from Fashion Bug and Lane Bryant, but never from Penney's. Since I've lost weight, most of the LB stuff is too big (yay!) but I did get some awesome socks and earrings with my last coupon.

I needed a grab bag gift to go along with a DVD purchase so I bought the popcorn set (2 popcorn containers, 2 boxes of candy & a box of something else). It was $14.99 minus my $10.00 coupon so I paid $4!!!! YEAH!

I still have the other coupon and will venture out on Saturday. I think I'm going to get the chai tea set. It was around $15 or so I think.

I used mine on myself. I bought a cute sweater that was on clearance for $14.99, so I got it for $5 + tax. Not bad in my opinion.

I got two as well and one from kohl's, bought DS20, DS17, DD10, new bed pillows they needed them, plus will give them a couple extra packages for christmas, givng the DS's money for christmas

They let you use it on Webkinz?

I was going to use mine today on a reindeer webkinz, but the back of the coupon small print had a list of no-no's and wenkinz was one of them. I thought about playing dumb and seeing if it would go through, but I just couldn't do it.

I get socks for DD5, there's a sock monster in the house that eats them before the washer gets a chance to.

(My DH always gets me a pair of socks, usually toe socks, at Christmas as a joke because of this quote!)

My DH wrapped a bunch of socks one year seperatly.He thought it was fun to stretch out our Christmas morning.It was our 2nd one together.A couple of years later I finally told him,don't ever do that again,it was horrible.I don't mind the fuzzy ones from JCP-the socks to stay home in though.

This year DH needs socks,so I bought a bunch and wrapped 2 pairs with each gift.Serves him right.

Yea there was no problem I didn't see the fine print the only thing they said was that if the tag is removed the one with the code that you can't take it back.

I have two of these also. I love them and try to get the ones from my mom as well. I usually end up getting a shirt or something. They usually have St. John's bay on sale 2/$12. Who can beat $2 for two shirts.

I got one $10 coupon in the mail, which I spent Monday on a Christmas gift for a niece ($12 sweater, so $2 out of pocket).

I went to Target this morning and redeemed my 2 Glade coupons, and the coupon gods must have been smiling on me because as I walked across the parking lot what did I find? A $10 JCP coupon! I guess someone must have dropped it. It was out by the cart return thing, so I picked it up, headed back to JCP and got a shirt for another of my nieces.

I don't know how some of you were able to buy something for $9.99 with the coupon when it was supposed to be $10 off one single item priced $10 or more. I noticed they marked down hundreds of items that were $10.99 down to $9.99 the day the coupon was mailed. It made it slightly more difficult to get the best bang for your buck.
I got 4 coupons. They were mailed to me, dh, dd and ds.
I used them on $10.50 Adidas socks. So, $2 for $42 worth of socks. I always buy socks and underwear for my kids to open with their gifts Christmas morning. It started out as a joke from the movie Christmas story, but now they have come to expect them, even as adults.

I bought a Chip and Pepper hoodie that was normally $55. It was supposed to be on clearance for 19.99. I happened to find one a size larger than a needed for my DS that was marked down to 12.97, so got that one instead (i think it was mismarked though). Anyway with all the extra clearance discounts, I ended up paying 42 cents. The guy who checked me out said, wow, you're really a bargain shopper aren't you?! I loved it!
