We are a party of 4, including 2 boys-a 4 yo and will be 20 month old. Would you do WCC or Ohana? We haven't had either in the past and are looking for something new to try. TIA!

Been to both. We just don't like the food at ohana it's smoked.
The service was nice and so is the resturant.

WCC- Good food & fun.:thumbsup2

We have been to both and prefer Ohana for the food and the entertainment. My children love the dancing line, receiving the flowered lei and the broom and coconut game.

They really didn't care for the antics at WCC, or for the food either.

We've done both. We liked the food at the WCC (had the skillet) and the antics were fun, but we felt like our dinner service took forever. Too much focus on the "antics" than the actual serving of the food and drinks. Ohana is one of our favorites. Great food, theming, entertainment, etc. We'll be back to Ohana each trip.

From what I have read on here on disboards both seem to have a love it or hate it following. My advice would be to pick the one the most convenient to where you will be or the one which has the most appealing menu.

We were at Ohana's 5 years ago and enjoyed it. Even then all the reviews were either love it or hate it. We may be trying WCC this fall.

We love both places.

WCC is my husband's favorite. The food and the service is good. We didn't have issues with the antics getting in the way of dinner or service. Dinner there has never taken more than 45 mins to an hour.
Boys seem to love this place. It is rustic, loud and fun. The servers often get the kids involved with stick horse racing, running for ketchup and so on.

Ohana is good as well. They have games for the kids, like rolling the coconut. But word of caution, dinner can take a long time the later in the evening your ressie is.

I don't think you will make a mistake with either, just pick which menu looks better to you and you should be set.

Assuming that you don't let the 20-month-old run wild, it depends on what the 4-year-old would most enjoy. Would he prefer rowdy and entertaining service, or music and coconut races with candy prizes?

I prefer Ohana over WCC just because it is fun for the kids, the food is great and the service is excellent. Look at both menus and even ask the kids if they would be interested in a certain dish there so you don't get there and no one likes anything.

I decided to keep my WCC and add Ohanas. On our arrival day, I didn't have anything booked. I was waiting to purchase our tickets and see what time we would be arriving. I looked at the flight times and decided we could safely book an Ohana dinner on the Sunday we arrive. After all of the good reviews, I was afraid if I waited, I wouldn't get anything. I wish they had a 6pm available, but they had a 5:30 and 6:20. I took the 6:20 to make sure we had time to get there. Thanks for all of your help and opinions!

BTW, I think my 4 yo would like both places. WCC is good for a 20 month old b/c it's loud and so is he :laughing:and he loves music so I can't go wrong with Ohanas.
